There's always that sticky tack putty stuff. We could only use that on our walls at the UO dormitory. It works really well, and so long as the walls aren't made of paper or covered in fabric, there shouldn't be any blotchy marks left over.

Perhaps if you need one room to be filled, it can always end up as a drawing room or an art competition? I'm game for that. I love seeing people's styles and things like that. If we get enough putty, it'd be interesting to see a wall grow with finished artwork. In Kumoricon '04, there was a drawing table where you could take a sketch you like and leave a sketch. It was pretty neat, I thought.

That putty would work well....for anything slightly heavy it might take quite a bit or something different all together.

Also if you are just hanging pictures a roll of blue painters tape works really well. That is what we use at the OSU dorms

Typically in the past we have had access to some freestanding (albeit heavy and wobbly) wood easels, which were donated by Sak back when we were at Red Lion. These are great because you can either lean 'em against a wall or put them perpendicular in which case you can display art contest entries, or fanfics awaiting illustration in our Fic-Into-Art contests, on both sides.

However I can only imagine that they are obnoxious to get in and out of storage. So, if no one needs them for anything else, and it would be too much hassle, and we can use the walls anyway.......yah.

its not too hard to find....someone will show you. Its where the little vendor hall is....or at least it was last time. Ask a staff member and they will point you in the right direction.
