gah okay so I just printed out a picture of the scythe [with the girl holding it] and started doing some math with ratios and what not.
and my results showed that [in comparison to me] the staff is about 6 and a half feet tall, the blade itself is about 4ft 7in, jetting out about 3 ft...
so it's the staff isn't as big as I thought, but the blade is a lot bigger than I had ever imagined XD

and now I just need to find a place where they sell insulation foam by the sheets, because I need a sheet that's 5ft x 3ft and 1 in. thick, but most stores only have insulation in a can!!

first place I looked, and they only had cans!
but maybe if I actually GO to the store it would be different.
so once I have enough money to actually make the thing, I'll just run all over town untill I find it..

Well sometimes the stores have alot more then what the internet or anyone else can say....
You could try ACE hardware or something along all of that.

yea, my little town has home depot, ace, and true value..so i'll try all of those until I find the right stuff..
and if that fails...I guess I'll be ordering some over the internet!

you could always use styrene sheeting Its like some type of plastic im useing that for the blades on my wings =3

Does styrene work that well to be curved if exposed to heat? I need to know for something.

Well Its like a thin plastic but you could put something in between it I have a link to something that could explain it better then I can I'll find that and give it to you

If I had a giant costume, say, a really big one, but it wasn't a prop and it was so big I had to wear stilts... Would I be allowed inside?

Last year I had a prop but I didnt know were to cheak it in at so I stayed outside alot. ;3;

you just check it with any staff member. they'll send you to some one who can peace bond it. they did that with me.

well it's apart of your cosplay, your not holding it, so no. when others have wings and stuff like that they don't need to get peace bonded even if their huge.

yeah. or if it's on you but it's clearly a weapon. like if it was tied to your back but these are his wings so I think it'll be okay.

I hope I dun have to get a ton of those peace bond things they ruin alot of cosplays cuz there so vibrent and If I have to get to many im just gonna be normal sasori and now some rainbow of tags.
Anyway..I hope I dun I have to get any tags on sakons head or the giant scroll.

then that's all you'll need peace bonded. make sure there's somewhere on it small enough to do that as well.

Two feet, so I would be eight feet tall at the top of my head. I'd also have a large butterfly attached to my face, and I'd be wearing a head covering that would only show my lips and cheeks. It would also involve a really big skirt. Like, big enough to hide a small Indonesian Sultanate under.

I think that's acceptable. like I said they tag props not costumes. and considering you'd be wearing it that means it's a costume. :3
