Kumoricon will be participating in the Keep Portland Weird! festival at the Portland Central Library, Saturday, November 8. The festival runs from 11am to 4pm... you can find more info here We will be making cat ears and teaching people to play go, so come down and look for us. Cosplay is definitely encouraged

oh sweet! totally gonna go! I have so many 'keep Portland weird' stickers. my uncle and his wife are known all over the place here. hmmmm maybe I could get them to come along.

Yes, I have a co-worker who doesn't work, just does his own thing and cries to manager when confronted about it.

yeah my work has made me cry twice now, 1st being when i was scedualed for 1 day, lowest of every one and i am supost to be full time, 2nd when my work change my hours and took my staterday when i was going to a wedding and didnt even bother to tell me about it, i found out second hand from a co worker
sigh tho it is making me more determned to get a better job

Official. David and I WILL be there. I am psyched for this one. (Sunday we are volunteering at Wordstock at the convention center too) It will be a volunteer weekend for us! yay! We get to support weirdness and childrens reading/writing! So much busyness!

It's just...cosplaying for a convention and cosplaying in a pretty public place for the sake of being wacky...

they are a slightly different type of fun, and I might enjoy the latter just a tad more.

Thats too bad, it doesn't seem like too many people will be going and I have heard some bad things about this event from some people. I heard that it was just an excuse for people to hook up with new people.
