Yes. That scene almost made me throw up cause animal abuse is just not right even in cartoon terms.

AnoHana has been a pretty killer show as far as "Bawwww" factor goes to begin with.... but I was literally doing that ugly cry where you have to gasp for air every once in awhile for pretty much the entire last episode.... Episode 5 was another really tough one for me in that show, but that's just because for some reason I really love Yukiatsu. =/
Just finished this one. I made my wife and I both cry. alot.

AnoHana is the hardest I have ever cried at any fictional thing in my life. I also became a little depressed for the next 3 days after I watched it. And every time I hear the ending theme I get a little upset deep in muh heart (It doesn't help that my best friend set it as his ringtone.)

I just went and watched the last 5 minutes of the last episode because me and a bunch of my friends are going to be coplaying from it and we wanted to make Menma's letters to carry around with us and I freaking lost it again and started bawling. I think it's going to be someone else job to get us reference pictures for that...

I seriously cry in every anime, but Naruto is a sob fest for me. When the Third Hokage died, I cried. When Asuma and Jiraya died, I cried. Anything that involved Rock Lee losing his powers and improving, I cried. When Naruto grew as a ninja multiple times, I cried.

I cried when Ulquiorra died.

I cried in the manga (and Korean drama) Boys Over Flowers, when Makino went through all that angst with Domyoji.

I cried in Sailor Moon, when Darien dumped Serena.

Come to think of it, when DIDN'T I cry in anime?

the ending of Fruits Basket and Air TV made me cry,but the most I've ever cried from a anime or anything really xD was Anohana,it was such a sad anime I really loved it though

Code Geass. Right at the end, right after Lelouch is stabbed, when Nunally says "I love you, big brother!" As if it's not sad enough he's dead, you have to throw a crying cripple on top of it... That's honestly the only time I've cried while watching anime...

Yes. That scene almost made me throw up cause animal abuse is just not right even in cartoon terms.

That's actually the only episode I haven't seen yet. The entire series has made me laugh so far, except the episode where we see the young girl being victimized by her foster dad; that pissed me off for many reasons (including that this was shown at my anime club). I can see the animal abuse, depending on what goes on, being a tear-jerker.

That anime was messed up in so many aspects... Just like...NO. WHAT KIND OF FREAKING KIDS BEAT UP A LITTLE DOG. In the end, it was kind of worth it at the end. It made me happy, also, I laughed at the part when the narrarator said "QUAGMIRE."

I have another anime that made me cry. or in this case rather a scene from it. In this case it's from Eureka Seven.

When Anemonae is battling Illreka anand Renton undeneath the "Crust" of the Earth in her LFO The End. He wailings over the fact that she only then understood how much Dominic meant to her and the fact she'd never be able to tell him "Or so she thought" her feelings brought a tear to even this Writer's eye. ANd the American dub actress who played Anemonae in my opinion just capture the feeling, the emotion so well that THIS is what makes for good anime.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the brat beating the dog. That's taking bullying WAY too far, (as if bullying wasn't horrible enough). I remember that Quagmire part. Though I laughed, too, it made sense when you think about what a quagmire is.

OH MY GOD.

I watched the last episode's raw because I couldn't wait for subs and I SOBBED. And I sat on the floor crying for like an hour afterwards while listening to the OST and looking at fanart. And then later that night I watched it a second time (with subs) and sobbed again; but this time I was watching it on a video chat with other people so everyone got to see/hear me have a total breakdown.

I don't know what to do anymore ;A;

Thank you for pointing this one out. I know "being able to make you cry" might not sound like much of a recommendation... but very few anime make me feel as much, both good and bad, as Ano Hana just did. And that's a good thing. (^_^)

Nabari no Ou, so depressing. Maybe FMA (can't remember)and Ouran (The Door the Twins Open was a tearjerker for me, but the manga was definitely sad at moments). But other than that I don't cry during anime so having at least one anime that made me cry is pretty big.
