Ostensibly a young courtesan employed in a brothel, Yatsuha is actually Otawa's partner, working to stop the brothel's counterfeiting operation. When she's discovered shortly after meeting Mugen, she tries to escape, but an oblivious Mugen insists on getting the services he paid for and kills her would-be assassins. Despite several attempts at either convincing Mugen to leave or knocking him out (first with a hit to the head and the second in the groin, both precipitated by the claim "Look! A naked woman!"), she is unable to rid herself of him. As such, she uses the promise of sex to manipulate into fighting for her. They invade the brothel's basement and slaughter several people. Yatsuha then murders Ginsa, leader of the counterfeiting operation because of his history with her father and knocks Mugen unconscious so she doesn't have to fulfill her promise. The next morning, she confesses to Otawa that she is in love with Mugen and intends to marry him. Otawa has reservations about her taste in men.

lol. I really love the narrator who's actually a japanese cop in the show. :3 he's hilarious. but yeah yatsuha is my fave, mugen also. it's hard to decide between the who however.

26 episodes is pretty normal sized for an anime.

and so sad too. T_T but...actually a lot of episodes are. that series shows the brutality of life and history itself.

I feel 26 is a bit short especially for champloo's stature.

Double posting. but it's been 120 days(that what the computer says) since anyone posted in here. :<

I am almost done with my yatsuha cosplay. ALMOST DONE. 8D I'm so freaking excited! And my friend is maybe half way done with her marshmallow fuu cosplay. I'm really getting on her case about it since con is only 3 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days away. LOL She has quite a bit to do as well.
