Wanted: Looking for Cosplayers in Grants Pass

My friends and I are trying to hunt down Cosplayers or any anime fans in the area.  When I mean area I mean Medford/Grants Pass area.  We don't want to travel too far but want to get a cosplay group together for skits and such.  We, unfortunatly, are stocked full of Narutards all over town and are having a hard time finding true anime fans.

Anyone know anyone or want to join?  Or just hang out at some point?  E-mails are best!

Indeedy, I'm from Grants Pass.  Unfortunately, I'm in Corvallis for most of the year for school, but I go home over the summer and over Winter Break.  If I'm not too busy with a job this December, perhaps we should organize a meetup?

That would be fun.  I'll be leaving december 27th to go to new zealand for six months, but we should deffinantly do something.  We're desperate to find cosplayers in the area.  XD  I think I remember you too.

Oh man, you're so lucky.  New Zealand is is beautiful.

I'm going to be heading back down to GP sometime around the 13th of December, so we should get a meetup in the works sometime between then and the 27th.

We will have to.  What cosplay do you have besides gaara?  We can do one massive group thing or just do random cosplays I suppose.  That's always fun to crossplay.

Gaara is actually my first and (currently) only cosplay.  I'm working on another one, albeit slowly, but it's kindof a secret. >.>  I'm going to finish it over winter break though, so maybe we could plan a costume workshop get-together or something?

That would be fun.  I am so awful at making cosplay.  Most of mine are bought.  Which sucks but I have no time or patience or talent for making mine.  Though I'm attempting to make something soon as well.

I really love making stuff, so I could help you out if you needed ideas/motivation/assistance.  I'm just learning how to sew though, but I'm getting better at it!

Oh cool!  I tried sewing once and failed so I usually only do it with my friend and her mom but we hardly get time anymore.

I want to practice more, but I haven't had time to get my sewing machine up and running yet.
