I don't actually have the spear stud things on my jacket. The corners of the black fabric are just colored silver. Hahahaha. xD

Besides this, I don't know what I'm going to do for Sakura-Con.  I don't think I'm going to be there for the first day... Hmmm..

I know I am a cheater...  At first I really wanted to get them for my costume, but after a while I came to accept the simple coloring. It works and there's no hassle to get/keep them all on.

if you know how to make it, then go for it! but if your somewhat sewing challenged [me] then it would probably be better to buy ^^'
but then sometimes you might get black lines that only go up to your elbow when they are SUPPOSED to reach your shoulder!! DX [ie the jacket for my costume...it bugs the hell out of me]

I can't wait to get my wig for christmas though!

well if I get the chance I'll scope good will and see what they got. it usually seems to have some nice things to work off of.

lol. poor shannon! XD being pissed off at her costume! XD my wig came today!!! my light and my yuuki! and i got a wig cap! and a wig brush came with the light one! ^w^

but u were right. i totally shoulda got the wig heads first! ^_^;;

i'm getting those first thing when i get paid tho. so it works. in the mean time my wigs are staying the way they came in they're little bags so they are protected from dust and what not.

I must admit, I did buy mine.
Our VK group was a last-minute decision for '08 so I bought it off of ebay xD
I colored and styled my wig the night before the con lol.

lol. i just don't want to dye my hair so much. and it would be difficult without wigs since my characters' hair styles vary in length and color. so wigs just makes my life so much easier! XD

It was a Li Syaoran wig so it was kind of a light brown color with minimum body to it. I was kind of peeved at the false advertisement.
I can't wait for Sakura now! I had no idea that most of you were going too! ^^

If I wouldn't be stuck doing the whole thing by hand like i usually do, I'd sew it. However in this case, i think I'd just buy the outfit, and make all the little accessories.

I think I'm going to start making the scythe right after christmas.
I can go and buy all the supplies this weekend, and then I still have a week left of winter break to make it. Which is plenty of time.

Unfortunately though I can't start on the wings for L and Light because my other shipment of feathers still isn't here =[ and I ordered them at the end of November, I even recieved one of the orders [turkey flats] earlier this month, but no wing rounds [ and those are the main part of the wings] GAH!

yuuki costume is too exspensive so im gonna just go as ichiru anybody know what kind of sword he has? im gonna try to make his mask... wow i need to stay off the video games for a while they're gonna swallow my life soon... ok so i need to check and see if my grandma has any jobs for me to do and boo for 16 inches of snow cuz we have to deliver newspapers in it.... i think VK already swallowed my life now i have video games bringing it back 0_0 i should ask and see if people can get me a piece of the costume for christmas oh i forgot my grandma sews a lot so i could get her to do what doesnt come in the costume package boo for not remembering sooner..... i need to sell my kagome outfit its bugging me i want it out of my life it was way too big for halloween and itchy so i want it out of my closet! wonder how much i'd get out of it.... oh and i might order some of my costume stuff once i cash in my check which will be once it stops snowing *yells at the sky* CURSE YOU CLOUDS STOP SNOWING RIGHT NOW AND GET WARMER SO I CAN CASH IN MY CHECK! uhhh i hope that works.... i think my brother gave me his cold and i had a dream where phil collins came to my school and talked about the kumoricon and had people do a vampire knight skit 0_0 then we bought a house and then i woke up....

ya and i wont have enough money for yuukis cosplay or i might have to take some from spiffygirl but i dunt think she'll appriciate that.... so our cosplay plans are ruined thank the people who own the stores that make the main characters uniform price go up! and keep the boys' down and it saves us money for any extra stuff  so its a win-win situation exept spiffy girl might have to make a new story like she a pureblood brought ichiru back from the dead to protect her or something i can say honerifics i dont really care unlike her...... so i will probably buy the wig once the storm passes over stupid snow *kicks big pile of snow* and you cant even tell if a pile is snow or a car *looks at place where kicked* oops that was a car....*piles snow to cover dent*  being stuck in your house for weeks makes you crazy

yes it would and i am going as him because yuuki cosplay too expensive and we have to watch what we spend... and i love him lots too and zero is way too serious or cereal as me and spiffygirl say.... just one condition no hugs for ichiru unless you ask permission! just kidding...

i hope at the con it'll be sunny but not too warm and i figured out the total of what we have put together and its about 110$ with the inserts money cut it in half and we might buy some of our stuff early!

Don't worry about it. I understand that we all can't carry out all of the character plans that we want to cosplay. I'm always making adjustments, myself.

it's raining today, so I'm going to have to make the rest of it tomorrow in the garage...after I clean out a space.
