It's your arteries clogging up. You'll need an artery scraping or an amputation soon. Well, it was that way fro my grandad when he had that symptom.

Yes.

You'd understand the feeling if it happened to you.  It was completely numb down to the bone, so touching my thigh felt weird, like I had chopped off part of my thigh and replaced it with foam.

How is it blasphemous?
As for offensive, I have the right not to like avocadoes, just as much as you have the right not to like meat.
Prejudiced - I work at a Taco Bell, okay?  I deal with that nasty green sludge that makes some guacamole likers hate it.

Now, I do apolgize if you took my jest to heart, but that's all it was, a jest, a joke, something not to be taken seriously.

However, your threat about a "warning" over this was not cool.  I see that you're a moderator, that's cool; congrats on the big responsability.  Don't abuse your power.  That sort of threat should be used for serious situations, not because of someone having a different taste in condiments.

If I truly found your post offensive, blasphemous, or prejudiced, I would never state that to the public.  I would delete any inappropriate content and send you an appropriate warning.

I understood your joke.  Not so sure you kept the ball rolling.

Honestly, I wasn't sure if you were joking or not.  I've seen moderators from "other" forums who got a little power hungry or chose to silence someone for disagreeing with them on something or arguing with someone that the moderator chose to have as a closer friend.  I think it was the frowny face that threw me off the most.

In the end, what matters is if we're all cool for the day.

Glad we could resolve that amicably.  For the record, if I post something with any sort of emotional text (:[, ;P, o_0, [|8B, etc), it's intended to construe a playful attitude towards the subject rather than to interpret a real emotion.

Avocados are DELICIOUS. Nothing that delicious should be unholy. How can something so wrong taste so good?  ;)

It's not a normal topping, but yeah, it's available.

Let's see, the things that normally get guacamole are:

Taquitos, (or you can get sour cream or chunky salsa)
Our new Fully Loaded Nachos
7-Layer burrito

I can't think of anymore right now.

It was brought to my attention recently that many restaurants and fast food establishments use green-colored whipped partially hydrogenated soybean and coconut oils, with little or no avocados, masquerading as guacamole, or they use a mix of this or similar substitutes and real guacamole:

http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2008/02/01/7362840.aspx

This was one of many incidents that have made me far more conscious of ingredients in my food, recipe makeup, and food quality of late. In particular, I avoid buying any food product with guacamole unless I've first ascertained that it's made mainly from avocados.
