Uhhhh. I don't know. With cosplay, it has to be what you're comfortable doing, and also which character you can act best, since it is costume ROLEPLAY. Think of who you look most like or could easily make yourself look like with wigs/contacts/etc, and who is most similar character-wise, and hopefully they're also a character you would enjoy playing.

Are you buying the coat? I'm making mine, but I can't really start until I can get to a fabric store. I found two in the town where I'll be attending university, so I'll probably go there on a weekend.

@Jacob: You should try the surplus store in Aloha. I'm pretty sure that they have white uniforms, even though I only saw a couple. Those might be a little difficult to work with though, considering that all of the uniforms there are in men's sizes. I was lucky to get such a small uniform for Italy.

@Miria: What is the world going to come to when you cosplay Prussia? It'll be Prussia plus a cute personality! X3

Italy's my backup anyways. Not sure if I'll be doing another Hetalia cosplay.

I got my coat for England at an army surplus store ... it's on the east side near the river, I think near burnside? I don't know the addresse but I could probably find it again. I think it was only $10 for the coat, and it was a really nice one. I altered it a little and replaced the buttons. But I don't know where you'd get a white coat for Japan. I'd say just make it from scratch, since it's so simple, and you'd probably wind up making most of it yourself anyway.

Hetalia is kind of a backup for me as well. I can always be England again if something else doesn't work out... but I'm not doing two Hetalias, so I'll have to see if I can manage my other Hetalia idea.

The army surplus store here in Roseburg generally sells American surplus. I can't think of any white American uniforms.

@Jacob: Hmm, it might take you a while to get to the surplus store over here. But you can make it to the Beaverton TC right? If you take the 57 from there, it goes along TV Highway. The surplus store is along there. You might want to have someone who knows where it is to come with you if you don't want any chance of getting lost in Aloha, though. ='3

Hnn. I've seen iron crosses that are actually jewellry or something like that. Mens jewellry, I guess? SK just made hers out of fabric. What type of iron cross does Prussia wear? is it in the same place as Germany's or is it more of a necklace type thing?
