Yes, that is what will happen to you. X3 And I will generally be useless. Except for when it comes to cooking. (I kind of wonder why Italy didn't put sausage peices in some spaghetti to satisfy them both...? It's actually pretty good that way.)

Russian food is squishy and weeeeird and requires the boiling of many vegetables. Mostly beets and potatoes.

I'd do the potluck. Babba Gannough is a really common dish among us flavorless Slavs. : )

Umm..theres cookbooks and then theres frozen pasta from trader joes XD and then good ol' pizza hut

Oh! that bring me to another thing! I dont think we should have to make a lot of food. Since some people may buy it, and as cosplayers we are all well...dirt poor. So any suggestions on what you guys think would be good portions to bring? i figure if we have a lot of people bring food anyways, we wont need a lot ~

Well, it seems...If we're all bringing food, and we all take a little laste of everything, what we eat and subsequently what we bring should be the size of a whole meal for one person. But we should probably bring more, just because. Sorry, just rambling. >_<; I don't really know~

And I think portions should be up to the person and how much they are willing to make/afford to make. Maybe enough for one person's normal meal minimal, but as we'll be trying out lots of different foods, we won't need to bring too much. (And some foods may be more popular than others, hurrhurr.)

I can't tell you specifically Russian dishes, but I can name various Slavic ones.

Bigos is okay. It's a better-tasting version of sauerkraut. (Actually, it's the only kind of sauerkraut I'll eat.) There's also stroganoff and pirogies. Pirogies are good when filled with oranges and covered in cream~

But I doubt the last one is very Russian. xD
