D: Yeah, that was awful, especially the fact that people went to the park blocks anyways and got separated.

The only problems with the ballroom were lack of space and fire code, as you mentioned before.

Goatchild waited there for a very long time to collect as many people as possible, but eventually had to come back.

Which is kind of sad, considering that's the biggest empty space in the whole hotel. HILTON, YOU ARE NOT A CON HOTEL.

And no, the Hilton is not a con hotel. Hence everyone complaining. Hopefully we can NOT have the Hilton next year!

Supposedly the Kcon contract with them was for two years, so Kcon '11 will be there too. >< But there's a rumor going around that we'll be in the convention center for '12. : D

Im sorry also for the way I'm acting but you guys were driveing me nutz with all your changes! Again it was like for the Inner circle expecting the rest of us morons outside to know anything on what you were thinking or doing, and if you were in over your head you should have asked for some help alot of us would have been glad to help, I would have even paid to bus us somplace for a shoot away from that damn hotel and all its British cargo ship glory. If someone asked I wouldn't let them down, I work for Sakuracon Staff and I know what it's like to be overwelmed don't bite off more than you can chew ask for help!
I wanted to help but Alot of us felt like we were being kicked out of this thing anyways

I had heard rumor that the Hilton had canceled the contract for next year, but it turned out to be false.

My brain is going very slowly. I got some sleep on the car ride home, which helped it stay alive.

That's why I dunno if I can go in '12. D: My graduation year is '11.

Emmy: XDD I've had a lot of opportunities to perfect it, bein' friends with Goatchild and all. (I'm referring to our Zim and Dib cosplays, of course.)
Super excited for photoshoot pics! I've only seen a couple so far, and every picture Demy got of me was blurry. XDD

Hey guys! Germany here. Was fun meeting those I had not met before, and re-meeting old friends this year. Me hanging with Hetalia peeps (and FF8 peeps, but that's for another thread) seriously made the con waaaay better than I thought it was going to be after going through day one. Let's just say that the Hetalia panel was the beginning of "omg yay awesome con", because before that I had had a really bad day.

I especially want to give a shout out to my awesome Italy, Auricle. =3 It was so much fun spending time with you. PLAYING DDR IN WOOL UNTIL 2:30 AM FTW. Can't wait to see those photobooth photos, too~ (And I hope that my annoying wisps in the back of my wig don't show up. x_X)

I apparently have an Inner Circle of 50-ish people, because that's about how many people were cosplaying and taking pictures at the shoot.

I checked the weather obsessively before the shoot. The meteorologists promised me reasonable weather for our photoshoot timeslot. When that weather failed to materialize, there simply wasn't time to organize a bus trip somewhere else in a city that most of the cosplayers didn't know on buses that would not have fit everyone who showed up for that photoshoot. (We're back to my "Inner Circle" being 50 people.) I had about ten minutes to organize a location and get the word out to everyone I could find. For all that improvisation, I only met about five people who didn't make it to the shoot and two of them missed it because they forgot. Was my organization imperfect? Obviously, and I really regret that I couldn't get everyone together.

Dude you guys Hetalia MADE this con for me. It wasn't a good hotel for a con at all, nothing seemed to be going on (especially Sunday afternoon, what was up with that), but maaaaaaaaan you guys were awesome. I totes vote for a Hetalia meetup at some point. Doesn't have to be soon, but at SOME POINT.
