xD definitely same here.

even if it's bad, i'll probably love it. xD i just hope they have at least decent special effects. i definitely loved the cartoon a lot.

to me, avatar is a mix between normal cartoon and anime. if you know what i mean...?

As I've said before I also like hearing other people interpretation of things, but it seems like most people want the movie to follow the cartoon. I wouldn't mind if the movie deviated a little from the cartoon just to get back to the same resolution

yeah. the cartoon had pretty much a solid ending. so i think as long and the movie doesn't like. completely change what happens and still allows for cartoon canon to make sense, i'll be comepletely fine with it.

I really enjoyed the ending of Avatar. And a few of my friends agree with the fact that as long as the ending is the same or similar it doesn't matter how it gets there....as long as it's not TOO far off XD

I realized something the other day, why are people complaining about ethnicity when Avatar doesn't take place on Earth? the only elasticities are the very slight deviations in skin color because NONE of the cultures actually match up to Earth. you can make all sorts of comparisons but they don't matter because it's purely fiction. all they have to do is make this guy pale and that guy tan.

The producers of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender movie adaptation have heard your concerns about the casting of the film and don’t care. Fans responded angrily when it was announced that the lead characters would be portrayed by Caucasian actors. They set up websites, posted on blogs, and even sent letters to the producers of the film. And they don’t care. After a series of angry twitters between himself and fans, producer Frank Marshall gave his final comment:

-----"The casting is complete and we did not discriminate against anyone. I am done talking about it."

At this point, it is clear that Frank Marshall and co. do not care what fans of the show think. Filming has already begun with no casting changes. Round one goes to the producers. Round two? Well, that’s up to us.

I don't care about the actors yet. I will SEE the movie before I make my judgment. I think anyone who judges a movie before they see it is was too judgmental.

They don't care because either way the film will be profitable. They will collect royalties every year through cable, foreign distribution, home video, DVD and Blu-ray sales.

Why make something GREAT when GOOD sells.

It doesn't look to bad to me. I am still going to hold out hope. On the plus side that isn't Jesse McCartney and if it is then it doesn't look like him and I stand by my original thought that they can make people look like whatever they want them to look like.
