*FACE PALM* OK PEOPLE . We are not going to do the string for the whole time that is just wired. I have been under the impression this whole time that people know that this was just a game not serious at all. Ok peoples I like the idea of the string game but people should be attached to a person 15 OR 30 mins MAX. OK OK *UN FACE PALM*

Well if we are going to Bridgeport may I suggest California Pizza Kitchen as an option for food?
And I must have confused everyone with some of my posts back there. I was just thinking of the challenge of two people strung togeher personally. Of course we're going to take the string of fate off our fingers after the game to set up for the next round.
As I said this is just to see who gets who and laugh about it. Anything serious, and it goes into a zone no one wants to be. And what kind of bottle should we use for the glomp circle?

It's not that hard. Bridgeport is right off of I-5, so basically you can go without directions and still not get lost.

if you need to get directions, use goggle maps... very good for it ^^

Bridgeport is very easy to find. I don't think we will have to much of a problem.

As for food there is the pizza kitchen, a noodle place, a sushi place, village inn across the street (it's like Shari's), and a few others. I have eaten at most of them and they are all very good. The sushi place is a little expensive though >_>

Yeah man, Bridgeport's easy to find. It's only about 6 exits down from Portland, so it's not that far at all. As for food, I don't really care, I have no money to afford it, so I'll just tag along.

I don't mind if it's on the 14th. My girlfriend's going to be in town that weekend, and she wanted to go. But if the 7th is better for people then I don't mind either way!

The 14th is a cute date cause it's on Valentines day.
But I don't have a problem with it being on the 7th since couples can spend they day together.

We originally opted for the 7th for better attendance, since on V-day most people will be off doing their own thing with or without someone else. So the 7th I'm voting for.

What would they be doing without someone? I don't think there are very many people in a relationship are going to this as of now. Lotus might possibly come, but other then myself, I don't think anyone else has much planned for the 14th.

Well for some people it's the 150th anniversary of Oregon on the 14th. While the ones that are lucky enough to be couples might already have plans. But yeah that can be wondered about who among those couples is on here and who isn't. So yeah, what about a split meet up then? One on the 7th and then one on the 14th. Whoever can make it to one day, whoo hoo! Whoever can make it to both days, double whoo hoo!

Yes it would be a lot more work, but at the benefit of everyone being able to make it to at least one event. Instead of wrestling back and forth between weeks. Otherwise no matter what day we put it on, at least half of everyone will be busy that day. And do we really have to have one person alone lead us in activities at either event? I mean on Pre-V-day we had the string game, speed dating, glomp circle and valentine card hand-outs in mind as possibilities. I'm just trying to suggest a way that no one gets disappointed. As far as I know, I can make it both days because other than the 150th B day of Oregon, I have nothing planned for the 14th. it should be an open bring-your-own game and food thing. No one person has to have the burden of bringing and running everything.

Question 1, what is there to plan? Just announce an agreeable time to come, a place to go, and show up. I mean if it was at someone's house, of course they would be the ones in charge. it was said that it would be at Bridgeport Village and maybe the park nearby.

Second question, what day were you referring to stick to? Others suggested the 14th because some couldn't make it on the 7th. Some originally suggested the 7th so as not to conflict with valentines day events probably already prearranged. Take note that this same predicament came up when the laser tag event was brought up.

If i'm going to one I'm not gonna go to the other.
Also even if we plan all these things, I think it's just nice to be able to hang out with everyone.
Some of the things we plan probably won't be done.
If we plan two, things will be forgotten and everything falls apart.

It'll most likely be at Bridgeport.
The reason on why were having so many problems on the date is because there to many things going on.
All these random meet-ups are being planned so what we need to do is pick one date and stick with it.

The fact is that people wont be able to make it to two events. A lot of people do not live near by and going to one is hard enough as it is. And even if they could go to multiple events with so many things planed I wont want to go to anymore. Like I said before if you want to organize one then do it. As for the "planning" that doesn't need to be made, you need to figure out a place, a time, and give others directions. Also if there is nothing going on during this meet-up then no one will want to come. And if you plan the same thing as the other then people will choose.

You are really trying to hard to make too many events.

Sugar my vote is for the 7th.

I still think it's just nice to be able to hang out with your friends and go to the meetups then plan so many things to do.
Place and Time is most important. Event's come after.
