And so until I figure that out, i don't know what day(s?) tim and I will be doing Ritsuka and Soubi

Not always. I mean some people tend to try to do one since they have a whole bunch of characters from the same series and they all know each other an what not. but it takes a lot of planning and calculations.

Well I was actually originally going to it but then problems arised so I cut it off.

It's Konan from Naruto. I was asked to be her by a friend at school and he said he'd get me the cloak and that he'd help me with it so I have a better chance of actually doing it. But I already have 6 costumes for con.

Its always nice using your real hair. It makes things a lot easier. Though I wouldn't suggest using your real hair unless you can actually style it the same way. If you can't it makes you look lazy (in my opinion, though it could signal someone with not a lot of money =/ )

If I didn't have the money to buy a wig, then I would just wait to do the cosplay 'til I did. I dislike when people just use their own hair and don't try very well...

Like last year with all the L/Light cosplayers...Most of them didn't even try.
It's actually funny. A few months ago, when I had longer hair, I was just having fun and dressed up like L, and a lot of people said I looked a lot like him, and better than so many other people...(http://s574.photobucket.com/albums/ss184/nekovamp13/Me/?action=view&current=Hello.jpg)
