well it is also a little bit of common sence. if you dont want to go under the bridge dont. you have your reasons not to but as for me i plan to go under the bridge at least once.

I live in central oregon so i have to go over the pass just to get to this picnic so i dont even know the area. all i know is if there is a bridge i am going under it for the heck of it

Alright that's fine with me. If we are at Lloyd you may have to walk a few miles to get to it though. I'm hoping it will be at the waterfront and there are a lot of bridges there so feel free to go under those all you want

Technically there is a bridge over the ice rink inside the mall. So with money and skill, some people can skate under that one if they want. Everyone wins.

But I see your point where, yeah we finally get under the bridge and be cold but dry, but it's the journey through the rain to said bridge before then that can cripple and soggify a cosplay...and any cake someone might be carrying. No ruin cake!
And I heard rice balls, and brownies of the muffin shape coming. Yum.

Well at one point I said I would bring a table for the food and things, but if we might be inside with tables already...there's no real point, though the Battle Bucket is still coming.

o3o I was planning to bring some onigiri. >w> I only have one bag of rice, but I make my onigiri relatively small, so...

I was planning to put tuna in some and just leave some plain, maybe make some veggie-ones too, but thats where I'm at a loss. I'd've liked a bigger selection for people to choose from if/when I make some.

I have a 50lbs bag of rice all to myself(more or less). I'm thinking of asking my mother for help, as she is very good at it and possibly make some kimchi(the type with red peppers) for filling. Besides kimchi and plain ones, I thought of spam, but I dun think many people will want to with its bad reputation.

owo I found a recipe that explains how you can get the onigiri to change color along with the veggie you mix with the rice. I haven't personally tried it out myself, but I think I will tonight.x3x It sounds guuuud~

I can get kimchi from my mother and I get spam for myself anyway so I can set some aside for picnic. since your supplies of rice is more limited how about I do a greater number of the plain ones? that way you can make more of the favoured types you had planned.

@Dana; -nodnod- I bought some at the store; five pounds. Its California Calrose Rice. I'm not sure if thats the best kinda rice to use, seeing as how my knowledge of that is sorta limited, XD but it works.

there is a type of rice thats better I think. Believe its only sold in Asian stores. I'll have to ck with my mother.

I think the basic apples, oranges, grapes, maybe watermelon would be good.

Depending on how work is going, I'd like to go! Fruit sounds really good. I'm getting a little bored of winter foods now. I can't wait until everything is in season. Especially nectarines and watermelon.

Beruchi, Safeway has it's own brand of calrose rice that's a lot cheaper than other brands. I would go for that. When i was still in school I ate probably close to 15 lbs of rice in the school year. Rice is so awesome.
