Tally ho on the waterfront as the picnic site. Even though we're possibly under a bridge, I will be bringing ponchos and umbrellas for other people, so their cosplays don't get drenched.

Alright I got an address for some people to use.

1055 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon 97204, if you copy and paste this into google maps the place we are meeting is across the street. You should see a fountain. We will be meeting at that Fountain, and hopefully we will can have the place that is right next to it. The same place we were at for the first picnic.

For me? Alphonse Elric, Link, Davy Jones, and now Kusuriuri from Mononoke.

I suppose it really doesn't HAVE to be a cosplay get together. It's more fun, though.

That's probably the sole reason behind wanting to crossplay as Seifer. I want to wear the baggy pants. >3 Nice and waaarm.

But yeah, the weather has been good down in Eugene, and we usually get whatever is left over from Portland and Salem typically, so I'm hoping the weather stays nice...

the weather has been gorgeous in Corvallis so I am hoping it stays this way

and I agree Lychee, you don't have to cosplay but it is more fun

ACTUALLY NICHOLE. I'll be in Portland the night before the picnic. So I might be there fairly early since I won't have to drive very far!

It'd be nice if it were sunny and in the 60's. Or even overcast and still somewhat warm. Just as long as it doesn't rain, it's not windy, and not too cold. ~ ~

Yeah it typically last till about 5 though that is when we start at noon >_> so I am not sure how long it will last. =/

Checked the weather again, the Friday before the picnic is predicted to have showers. Tomorrow they will have Saturday's forecast up....but it might not be too accurate

*crosses fingers*

On the plus side, the high for Friday is 59 so it might not be too cold

I just hope it will be that warm Saturday.

I am! Haha that and Sakuracon. I'm just excited for break in general. Anna finished her last final today at 8, so we're heading back to Oregon later today and working profusely on Cosplay. XD

I also ordered my Axel wigs on Monday, so hopefully they'll get here soon. Steven's working on the coat. I need to finish painting the Chakrams and make the beads. I'm going to try to Cosplay him for the picnic.

JEALOUS! My last final is at 6 tonight. After that I am heading home.

I got a shirt to finish up the last part of gloves for Cloud (going to use the shirt as the material >_>). As for the shoes I haven't quite found the ones that I want but I have some that will work for now.

Well that is good, you found the ones for Cloud or Axel? My mom has some leather ones I am going to use just on his right hand he has two pairs of gloves, one that comes up much higher than the others. A plus note though. I was just looking at my ankle brace and I think that may work perfectly for the under glove so I may not even have to make it XD

Since it is a confirmed outside event, the Battle Bucket will be coming with me. My friend needs a cosplay in case she gets permission to go, so I'm setting her up with an Inugirl cosplay (female Inuyasha) while I come as good old wishy-washy...Trunks. But complete with senzu beans!

Maybe it's just because of the last scene in Advent Children, but when the sun starts showing through the clouds, it makes awesome light.

What's laughable is that my other group, some members won't come down to the park and play because of the rain or other stuff, yet the dedicated ones rejoiced when it snowed. They play in any weather, unless it's too hot. I also design my cosplays for costume play, as in element ready.

Yeah I guess you could bring the gloves, I'm not too sure if I will need them or not but it is worth a shot.
