So I've been thinking about getting a snake bite piercing. It's basically two lower lip piercings on either side (pics included for reference) and I was wondering what everyone thought of them or how they would look on me.

I'd say go for it. I think they would actually fit well with your facial structure. The studs would probably look better on you than the rings, though, in case you weren't sure which to go with.

Yeah, you kind of have to start off with studs by default, just because they heal easier and quicker than a ring.

I don't think that is the right type for you. But I am biest, I have never like the snake bit piercing. I would say maybe go with the signal under the lip barbell or just go with the lower ear and keep it basic.

Let's also keep in mind that most of the people replying here are most likely not piercing proponents, so yeah, there are obviously going to be a lot of people not agreeing with your idea, Patrick. I'll give you the advice I gave someone else though. Do it for yourself above anyone else, anyone here. If you get a piercing, make sure it is what will make you happy and you are willing to accept the potential negative aspects for the final product/look.

Sometimes the hole heals up and sometimes it doesn't. Take that into consideration.
I'm gonna be laughing like crazy at these middle aged or older people with tats everywhere and gauged ears and holes all in their faces, it's gonna be awesome!

I whole-heartedly agree. Also, make sure you have a good conversation and are comfortable with your piercing artist. They can give you the best asthetic advice *^_^*

it could potential go okay but i am personaly afraid of many piercings around the mouth... my cousins friend had a tounge piercing that got infected *shiver* nasty stuff.

but i dunno if it would look good on you though...

well make sure you get it done by a pro! No sloppy stuff go to a body salon to get it done!

I always think of the same thing. That's why I only have two on each ear. Haha.

Anyway, back on subject here.
I say yes.
I don't say that to many people, but I think that your facial structure could pull it off

In my opinion, you're more suited for studs though and not as much with rings ::shrugs:: but hey, it's your face!

It won't be much worse than what age does naturally to the human body already. Age is an ugly process no matter how you look at it, tattoos and piercings aren't going to make much of a difference if you ask me.

Personally, I think they're one of the ugliest forms of piercings available. However, this isn't my body we're talking about. I say if you wanna do it, go for it; I don't think it'd look good on you, even if I liked the look in general.

I ALWAYS wanted to peirce my lip but the one thing that made me decide not to was the realization that If I wanted to have a professional job someday I wouldnt want to have a big noticable hole in my lip. I realize that that was probably the best choice for me and obviously not the choice for everyone.

Make sure its a decision you want to live with for a long time, cause even if you decide to remove it someday youll have the little scar marks.

I believe that all tattoos and peircings should be up to the individual so good luck with the choice!

I made the mistake of listening to Love Line on the way home from work. Heard the story of a guy who had his "package" removed as he let his piercing get infected.

I bet he scratches his tattoos too.

your new piercings look good, patrick ^.^ i think the studs would look good too, so you should try those after they heal up completely.

and you shouldn't have to worry about infection if you keep them clean and follow what your piercer told you, people just like to nay-say about anything they can, just like on the tattoo thread *shrugs*
