^ Since I wouldn't have to worry about holding my stuff/messing up my costume/frantically trying to find other cosplayers in the same anime, I would just sit back and have a great time taking as many pictures as possible and just and talking to everyone.

^ If it was me with the rain-resistant costume, I'd just grin at everyone and watch them scramble for cover. Of course, I usually carry an umbrella when the weather looks threatening, so I'd probably end up sharing it...

Save up all year for it since the door and hotel fee would be moyda. or just buy the best tent or a decent car, and camp out in the parking lot.

Miss the lights, noise, and crowd greatly, but do what I can to attend other conventions.
If I was banned from going, I would submit a request to know what I had done to cause such a decision to be made.

WWYD if you had to choose between pulling together low-budget but effective cosplays and attend meets and cons all year round, or saving up and building one single high quality cosplay for only one or two conventions, however suspenseful the wait would be?

Well since my house has so many costumey things it's fairly easy for me to piece together costumes so I would say the first choise

Try to remember where I was sleeping the night before and if I had something sense-numbing to allow this to happen. Meanwhile, calmly walk until I found a tall grass field and weave together a temporary skirt/loincloth, and walk until I could find a farmhouse. I'd tell the residents that my clothes were stolen and I was left in a field, asking if they had some I could borrow, where I was and if they could give me a ride somewhat close to home.

Probably wonder how I stayed in the tree while I was asleep,then realized I had no clothes on,yelp and fall backwards off the tree,and end up rolling down the hill.

Say hi to my GF a LOT more often. Riding the bus from Sherwood to Gresham leaves a 2 hour window to sketch stuff, but still is a long 2 hours.

Wonder who would have accused me and had me framed, yet still declare my innocence that is all too true.

WWYD if you were a shopkeeper in a fantasy RPG general store and some random adventurer came up, set a severed hand with a ring on its finger, on the counter and asked you how much you would give him for it?

The adventurer just got back from a cavern raid after his whole party was torn apart by huge bat-things, with the hand being the only "treasure" he could recover.
