That just happened to me recently, with my best friend. I tried to figure out why. After she explained it, I let it go. There was nothing I could do to convince her otherwise, she had all these ideas in her head about who I was and her own self importance. In the end, she wasn't my best friend, because best friends aren't suppose to judge you for who you are.

Same thing I do every day for the past 7 months for that very reason (except for when k-con hit) - Sit around in a pool of depression while the rest of the world continues moving.

Probably wait for it to come out. There have been lots of awesome 8-bit style games coming out lately such as Megaman 9 and 10 and Scott Pilgrim V.S. the World (the game). 8-bit is here to stay even if it isn't as main stream these days.
