Some of you might think this is a dumb idea, but the HT in Clackamas now has
an "input box" with notepads and pens for customers to suggest merchandise.
I've already written a suggestion for them to carry a wider variety of Dir en grey merch (and JRock in general), but I'm only one person. If others from this forum could go and write suggestions for JRock merch or albums they should carry, they might actually listen. I realize there are many J-Fans out there who are vehemently opposed to the idea of their precious JRock getting "ruined" or "turned into the next emo" by a store like HT, but please set aside that deep seated hatred of the store and think about the POSITIVES, like being able to buy CD's by these bands in local stores for much-much less than the typical japanese import prices, without having to order online with credit cards, and the fact that THEIR RECORD LABELS ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION TO THE SALES of those stateside JRock releases and use it as a measure of the area's fanbase size. More people buying re-released JRock cd's in HT will mean MORE JROCK BANDS KNOWING THEY HAVE FANS HERE AND COMING TO PDX. HT has already carried albums by Dir en grey, MUCC, D'espairs Ray, The Underneath and recently Girugamesh, Polysics, and Versailles... I'd like to see albums by The GazettE, Gackt, Miyavi, Moi dix Mois, Ancafe, and more eventually make their way into such stores and I hope that I am not the only one who wants this.
It helps if you can also suggest specific albums by the bands,
the one's you think would be the best for the store to sell.
Like Gackt's "Mars" or The GazettE's "STACKED RUBBISH."
