I'm not too into Christian Rock if it's preachy. The only song by Flyleaf that is kinda preachy is "All Around Me". It's not preachy in a way to try to convert someone to christianity but is more just expressing that she's a believer. They have a song called Cassie which is just about the chick who was asked "Do you believe in God? if you say yes I will pull the trigger" She said yes and got shot. I feel like the song is telling you to do what you believe 100%. Whether it be a religion or anything else.
Also, I like Flyleaf cause I love her voice. I only think she's hot looking sometimes but her voice is sexy.
I think some of their songs are a little "preachy" which is the point. You also misquoted the song and the question. The shooter just asks "Do you believe in God?" As the song states, she knew her faith would lead to her death, and didn't care. The song is based off of the girl who got shot at Columbine High back in '98. The exact conversation was that simple question, she said "Yes," he asked "Why?" then shot her. That's why I like the song; it brings back the negative memories from back then (I had some personal stuff that happened shortly afterward) and talks about what has happened since then. The second verse is my favorite part, "Our heads are bowed in silence, to remember her last sentence. She answered him knowing what would happen, her last words still hanging in the air." I love how that's worded.
As for her looks, she was cute in the "All Around Me" music video, but the back of their CD makes her look kinda like a 15-year-old Olsen-twin wannabe.
