@ Washougal: Wag the Dog is the name of a film from which we'd already posted a quote.
OIC
Moreover, what I thought the rule was that one would post another quote after one's *own* quote was posted. So if Jay's and Washougal's were still in play, but mine was solved, I'd post a new quote, and Jay and Washougal would post new clues for their standing quotes for a day or so, and then give the answers if no one got them.
The original rule was that one person answers, and if they got it correct, then they post a new quote for others to guess. You are right about this thread being as large as it is from everyone posting several quotes at a time, but that makes it hard for people to keep track of what's going on. For example, someone who hasn't seen my latest movie quoting that could get it, won't be able to see it now, because there've been enough posts to push mine back.
Here's all the quotes I did earlier (I'll even put in a clue for the ones that apply)...
"Look, these people, they have no jobs, no food, no education, no future. I just figure that we have two things we can do. Help, or we can sit back and watch a country destroy itself on CNN. Right?" (Spoken by Josh Hartnett)
"Nobody asks to be a hero, it just sometimes turns out that way." (Spoken by Josh Hartnett)
"You Americans don't smoke anymore. You live long, dull and uninteresting lives."
Lemme do another quote from the movie, one that'll hopefully make it more workable. Okay, it's a conversation.
"Why aren't you shooting?"
"We're not being shot at yet."
"How can you tell?"
"A 'hiss' means it's close, a snap means..."
(A bullet hisses by)
"Now they're shooting at us!"
Yes, this is all from the same movie. It's also the only Josh Hartnett movie I've seen that I respected him for. (Which I hope is another clue for you guys).
