I opine that anime DUB quotes seem kind of 'unfair,' because the 'real' lines were spoken in Japanese, and the subtitle text may differ from that the 3rd-party dubber spoke, and in many cases Japanese doesn't even match up to English directly. (How do you translate 'chi-chi-ue' differently from 'o-tou-san,' for example?)
Therefore, determining what exactly was 'said' will be vague. Otherwise, what happens if I write my favorite anime OAV quote in romaji?
1) Here's a FUN one:
"But if you are men who do doubt your courage or your faith, proceed no further - for DEATH awaits you, with nasty, sharp, pointy teeth!"
I get my BEST movie quotes from AMV Trailers:
2) "You're no soldier. You're an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill."
