Yup, I think; you are only 21 or 22, right?  I am 26, as of early December.  (What sucks though is I spent my 26th birthday, my favorite number, by the way, at work.  I didn't mind being at work, but I agreed to work an extra 4 hours because two high school kids wanted to stay home and do homework that night instead of over the weekend, and I ended up being there for 5 and a half hours extra, instead.  I hate Taco Bell).

    I sure want to know where that one came from! I would have to say it most sounds like Data from Star Trek. But I fail because I have no idea what movie (or even TV episode) that it's from.*half-hides head, half is proud (if right)* At least
I knew the Theatre de les Vampyres from Interview With a Vampire one!

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.

I love the other movie so much, I'll give one last dead-giveaway clue:
The title song from it was the biggest hit for The Psychedelic Furs.
Anyone who knows 80s music at all should now be able to name it....

Are you referring to "Pretty in Pink"?  I think that was done by the Psychedelic Furs.

Ding ding ding!! Yes, one of the movies I most love of the 80s. Molly Ringwald, Harry Dean Stanton, Andrew McCarthy, James Spader, (I told you they all became big stars!), and the person who said the first quote (Annie Potts), and the person the first quote was about, and who said the 2nd quote to Molly:  Jon Cryer. I totally identified with "Ducky" yet had a crush on him :) back in the day. Check it out if you haven't already! The soundtrack also includes Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark aka OMD with "If You Leave". If you keep an eye out you can also catch Andrew "Dice" Clay and Gina Gershon (love her!) in minor roles.

My posts have been quotes from the major movies.  That Pretty in Pink one was just a guess, honestly; one from the random thoughts of my mind.

As for your first quote, I know that this was the title of a ST: TNG episode.  Lemme think... I have a nagging feeling that it's old, but I can't place how old...

I think (but I'm not positive) that this is from 2001 A Space Odyssey, right?  If it's not that one, then it's possibly Fantastic Voyage, but I'm sure it's the first one.

Oh, and the Paris quote, was is Casablanca, perhaps?
