Oui. Budget is super important. Renting out ballrooms and such if you wanna do that, is gonna jack up prices. Certain ballrooms will be about $4500 for 2/3 hours. That's for the Adriene, or whatever. Double Tree was a couple hundred, they will include catering assuming they haven't changed it. Have phunn~

Butler cosplays?

Also, there are a number of local venues that can be rented out, like with the mini events we've had

I stopped having parties when I changed to a new school in 7th grade. For my 13th birthday i envited all 60 people in my grade. 2 people came.
I just kinda got jaded at that point and stopped having parties ><

step one. learn to spell

..noe...

tho for the record that wasn't so much as a spellin error as a sub-Dyslexia/dyspraxia moment,

@ NightLotus
thats sad but I know how that goes, after my parents split we moved quite a bit, 5 times between 2nd and 4th grade, and my birthday is like the first day of school, it can make it hard to make friends some

@ Lotus, wait until you are in your 40s, and a guy!

" Are you going to the party?"
  " What party?"
  " Um, no party."

sigh.

@SageBell, are you in O.C.? My old hometown, sigh. Wish I could live there again.

@Saya-Chan-14; There's the Oregon City something or other up in Atkinson Park, close to the high school that can be rented from the city. The Carpenter's Hall on Warner-Milne can be. Most of the banks have rooms to rent. These are going to be cheaper than some more well known options. There is always the rent of a church downstairs, but that doesn't sound so sweet a 16 now does it? Hmmm.

I'm trying to think what is available in downtown Oregon City. The Elks club? Spendy I bet. You may be able to rent out something at the Odd Fellows building on 7th and Washington, kitty corner from the 7-11. Maybe even the old Carnegie Library.

Have Fun

Jay

Yeah. <3 Would you want it at the Rose Garden, or at the zoo, or anything like that?

Um, I think the name might be Foster Gardens. Spendy, but bucolic. Weddings held there.

Or, RHodendron test gardens, aka Crystal Springs over in Eastmoreland, across to the west from Reed COllege. Run across the street and go play on the adult sized swing set!

Golf courses are another place to think of, if you want some scenery.

Have they taken the organ away that was a the old Organ Grinder pizza place? That was cool, back in the 70s when I was a kid. lol

No, I am not planning on attending. Just trying to offer some help.
Have Fun

I really wanted a sweet 16 party.....I got a family-only party at an arcade. I was really sad for a while but now im pretty use to low-key parties. I cant even remember what I did for my 18th and my 21st wasnt even at a bar....

Take it from someone who is planning a wedding: Ballrooms are expensive! Are you funding this by yourself or is your family helping? Sometimes you can get away with doing a party outside in a park with decorations, a DJ and a dress code and pull off the same effect for much cheeper!
