That would be a great thing to screen, it'd be a smart move to take advantage of the newly released movie. There would surely be a big audience for it.

Yeah, hopefully the movie would be out by then, but even if it doesn't come out til after Kumoricon, it would be a smart move to ask them about it early on. Surely wouldn't hurt.

Nope, the PS3 is region-specific just like any regular DVD player, surprisingly.

At least, mine is anyway.

Blu-Ray has fewer regions than DVD, and Japan and the US are in the same region.

(HD DVD was even better, without region-coding. But alas, that was not to be.)

Yeah, for sure. I would still want to get the US release for convenience later on, but for the sake of getting a hold of something as soon as possible, I will for sure aim at getting the Japanese copy.

I would too. This is a movie I could feel completely justified in getting for both dvd player, Blu-Ray and PSP.

ah but the special edition is awesome cause it comes with postcards, the script, and the novel. plus, the last order anime is on there too ^.^ but i'm a super fan and want all the versions... lol.

depending on how soon after the japanese release it will be released here, i may go in with eve on getting the japanese version first. but if it's not too long a wait, maybe we'll just wait for the us release... but who knows >.> (and i'm just talking for myself, mostly, lol, sorry rodney, didn't mean to put words in your mouth o.O)

7 weeks. Its enough time. I will have about $500 by then....and I only plan on spending about $200 at the con, and probably about $100 on the costume.....not to mention I need to pay the rest of the money for my sword >_>

Cloud's boots do look to have a bit of a chunky sole to them. Nothing like a platform, but combat boots could make you taller, a little bit.

final fantasy has a trademark of gravity defying hair, which is awesome, but also somewhat hard to replicate, lol. *will have to do it again for aeris* but at least i know how to do the bangs now >.O
