I'd be excited to see a Jecht, but that's a long shot.

Well, of course. That is one that can't be pulled off by just wearing the costume.

Yeah...but someone has to supply Cosf**** with terrible cosplay photos, lol.

Anyway, back on topic. Can't wait for this game. If given the option, I think I will play through Squall's story first.

Hmm, yeah. I wonder how the system will work. If you start off with just a few and earn more, or if you start off with just one and earn them all. Hmm, curious.

I have no idea. I think it would be better if you started with a few. It would force you to play a lot of the characters :P

Yeah, I agree. This is the one fighting game that I am definitely going to want to play as everyone though. Regardless of whether I know a lot about them or not. I'm going to want to know everyone's story, get their moves down, all that good stuff, heh.

And if there was a way to hook PSP's up to a TV, I would say it would be amazing if we could have a Dissidia tournament at Kumoricon this year, but I don't know if it would even be possible.

I'm sure the game will have wifi capability, so it should be fun playing against other people, in some way at least.

It seems like it would be awfully shortsighted to not provide some option like that. Making a fighting game that can only be played by one person is a pretty bad idea.

Nice move, heh.

There's actually this game, Itadaki Street Portable, that I plan to import for the PSP. It's like Mario Party but with Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters!

OMG MUST PLAY!

Yeah, if you don't mind Japanese text, it seems like a simple enough game to pick up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itadaki_Street#Itadaki_Street_Portable. They have a slightly different version for PS2, but PS2 doesn't play imports (nor does PS3, if the game isn't a PS3 game). But thankfully PSP doesn't have those limitations!

The Japanese one. If they have had import games before, I'd bet on it. It will be so new, there are great odds. Would you actually get the import one, though? And buy the English version later on?

There's five figures in the set, this is the first set released of Dissidia figures. They are: Zidane, Squall, Cloud, Tidus, and Warrior of Light.

Ah, nope. I doubt they would ever release all the character figures in one big set. They tend to do things incrementally, a little here, then a pause....then a few more, and a pause....lol

Well, she already bought this first set. It is never a guarantee that they will all be available at the same time, so it is kind of the best bet to just get them when you can.

But of course if you have no interest in getting them all, just having one or two, they sell them individually, too. So, that's a nice option for some people. Are you thinking about buying some?

Nice. Yeah, whenever Kuja comes out, I am so all over that, lol.

But for now, probably for this year, it looks to be only this first set that is available: Cloud, Warrior of Light, Zidane, Squall, and Tidus.

Probably have to wait a while for Kuja or any others. Whenever they come out though...Kuja, Jecht, Ultimecia...ooh, I'm there!
