EDIT

What is this about a Zidane? Damn... maybe Yuna should have been last year and dress Garnet this year. >.>

:/ I need to get on that. Reno's basic attack is a given... Well, how exactly will the attack thing work out? Turn based, right? Does each person on a specific side take a turn or do they discuss or something?

It'll be turn-based, and we'll probably just go through each side. One side would go and then the other side. That is how most of the games do it anyway, the Time Gauges all usually fill around the same time for a party.

And as far as my attack go, I will be using the basic Attack, maybe some magic, and I will definitely have some limit breaks stuffed up my sleeve if y'all piss me off too hard.  ;D

I think Flare Star and Holy were Kuja's favorites. Those two were his main attacks in the Terra fight, with Flare thrown in often also.

Then of course, Ultima was the battle-ender. There's no defense against that one, lol

Yeah, you can see the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWN2mjPwv98, if you need a reference and won't be able to play through the game.

You're pure magic, Kuja! Hope you won't mind standing in one place throughout the whole battle, lol

Yeah, I'm not cosplaying from IX this year or anything, but I would like to play through it again. I played through it so many times when I first got it, most of it has been essentially burned into my memory, heh. Still, there's nothing like playing through it again.

Yes, of course. I definitely plan on running a refresher before I cosplay. It is just necessary in my mind. With VII, I have options (can watch AC, play the game, etc.), but for IX there's only one place you can go, heh.

Hmm... if I have time, I might quick change into Garnet halfway through the battle. With a Kuja and a Zidane there, it's pure blasphemy NOT to do Garnet at least for five minutes. ^^;; So... if Yuna gets KOed early, I'll run like hell and change into Garnet and run like hell back.

That just made me think of the ending scene of FFIX, when Garnet's running.

Or maybe I'll just be Garnet for the battle. Is it during the photoshoot or after? After if it's after, then I mgiht have time... *trying to force Garnet into the battle*

As for attacks, probably Cure, Attack, Summon Shiva... and something else. XD

For Garnet... Summon Shiva, Attack, Cure... hell, they're both healers, they'll probably have the same attacks. >.>;;

What is it with Final Fantasy characters and compensating for something via huge sword? Tidus, Sephiroth, Cloud, Squall... Zidane seems the only one not compensating. But, then again, there IS that tail...

Well, what is a sword after all but a large symbol? Go back to Shakespeare....it's in there. Go back even further....it's a constant metaphor. Final Fantasy didn't start it, they just reinforce it, lol.

I'll add that if we can pull our minds away from the typical phallic symbol ideology, there are still some very awesome symbols within the world of VII.

It all starts with Sephiroth, his sword is the Masamune, the 7 ft. monster. He is the war hero, the hero of Shinra and everyone's idol. So it starts with him.

Then we have Cloud, with the Buster Sword. Not as long as Sephiroth's, but ten times as wide. A form of compensating, attempting to live up to Sephiroth's status.

Then we have Kadaj, a mere remnant. He is just a child really, with a double-bladed short sword. He cannot live up to Cloud, he certainly cannot live up to Sephiroth, but he will try with all he's got. So in all his attempts to be like Sephiroth, he has a sword with two blades instead of one, hoping to become like Sephiroth with the 7 ft. masamune...but he is only a remnant.

See? Symbolism everywhere, clean symbolism...not dirty Shakespearean stuff, lol
