Yeah, you have a lot of freedom with X and X-2, since you don't really see any of the items from those games. Only spheres, heh

Which reminds me....I need to see if I can find a picture of a potion in FFIX *starts playing* I'm doing pretty good. I just got Freya and am about to see Kuja for the first time :3

Ok there are just little bottles but they are shaped the same as the one I have. In IX the potions are blue, ethers are red and elixirs are yellow....so I need a yellow liquid that is not pee >_>;; XD

Lowe's or Home Depot are both great for PVC pipe. They have many different widths of pipe, all for really cheap.

Yeah, that makes sense, heh. So would you have a different color gumball for each item or something? Sounds like it could be really cute. Really in-character, too. (Rikku's totally a gum-chewer and bubble-blower, ^_^ )

I noticed that someone said participants would meet up at the Hilton in Downtown Portland between 6th and broadway. I'm going to assume that the mock fight event would be practiced somewhere not at the Hilton hotel since I'm sure that the rent-a-cops are dying to earn their pay.

That's only for the Pre-Con Walkthrough. When we do the actual MB during Kumoricon, we will have a set location for it, so we will meet there. We just don't have a place picked out yet, which is what we aim to do at Pre-Con.

Yeah, you still can participate. It isn't a difficult concept to pick up, so anyone should be able to show up and figure it out.

So for the walk-through, participants meet at the Hilton but then go somewhere else for the actual practice?

I can't think of any empty public places near besides that playground near the rose garden/japanese garden ..

Or PSU.. The PSU garages have a nice Tokyo Drift feel to it, but I don't suggest practicing in front of any buildings with staff in them, like the Administrative or Library where half the building is windows.

Wow, lotsa questions (Thanks for fielding them, Nikki).

We'll meet in Pioneer Square, outside area (not the shopping district Pionner PLACE). There are bathrooms at Pioneer Place though, in which you can change into your costume. It is only one block away, so you can easily change there and come over to the Square.

And, Bucket_Stalker, are you saying you don't want to come to this pre-con mb walkthrough, or are you talking about the actual con?

Ah, well there's definitely no pressure to come to pre-con if it will be a strain. Like I said before, this MB will be really basic, so you could just as easily just show up at Kumoricon and be fine.
