Midgar/Edge has a very....city-esque feel about it, with lots of gray and blue tones. xD You could go take random pictures around Portland?

._. Always thought Portland in general would be a really good place for a FF shoot.

So, gotta catch up.

I have to agree that it is shaping up to be a FFVII Mock-Battle, and that's fine with me, heh. If we get cosplayers from other games, that is also awesome, but I can see plenty of fun that can be had with just the VII cosplayers we have right now.

And I also agree that Portland (on a nice gray day) does have the nice Edge/Midgar atmosphere. Hopefully it is cloudy weather during the photo shoot at Kumoricon. It would be so perfect!

Oh, this event will definitely happen. And you still have a looot of time. This is not until Kumoricon, which is in September.

There's talk of other events goin on in here, so I will just clarify for those who are confused: The Mock-Battle/FF Photoshoot will happen at Kumoricon 2009, in September. Not the picnic, or any other event.

Well, I probably won't be doing anything this early. Whether you all get together or not, I am still going to be planning on having the Walkthrough in August. It just seems to be more reasonable, people will have more progress made on cosplay and things will be more prepared for Kumoricon.

But you all can do whatever you want.

I agree. It will be nice to have a few practice rounds that way at the actual mock-battle, there won't be much confusion and everyone will know pretty much what to do. The less confusion the better ^_^

Okay, well whatever date you guys decide on in May for this pre-walkthrough, if I can do it I wll try to come. I'd want to be there since a lot of this is planning and stuff just in my head, lol.

And we will also just keep a day in August for the other Pre-Battle.
