Actually, Cloud's Wallmarket Dress is purple. ^_^ There's a great illustration of it in the unofficial guide by Ultima. We can get you a shot of it if you want, but yeah, Cloud's is purple.

Gameplay Wallmarket Cloud looked purple to me too. I'm pretty sure it was a dark purple. Like the purple in your Albel cosplay.

not sure how soon I will cosplay Kuja but it will happen. Cloud is likely to happen next year...it shouldn't be too hard....though I may have to get another wig to do the braids >_>

yeah it would be. So maybe as it gets closer to the time next year I'll just get my hair dyed to match the wig. I think it will only slightly be off from what it is now.

O.O I just thought of something really cool....if only I could have the dress made so that I could rip it off and be ready for battle XD

Yeah, I'm sure it would be pretty simple to make it a tear-away dress by just leaving one side open and having velcro connecting that whole side.

Some great news though, the sword I though was going to weigh about 50 pounds should only weigh about 6 ^_^ So I really don't need to beef up my arms too much...they look a little muscular now so just a little more work and they should be fine

(BTW, you know how Cloud's sword are various swords put together? I actually saw one that could split into different swords like that 8D
Although it was 500 bucks...)

its just one sword, I don't have that much money to spend on all of this.

as for what I would change on Kuja, the outfit I would get would all be cloth and the stuff that goes over his chest is more of armor, so I would just put some cardboard or something under it to give it the armor shape. Also the boots it comes with aren't quite right >_>

You should always maintain a clear view of your priorities with cosplay. If something is beyond your budget, don't let yourself be convinced that it is somehow feasible. Just do it some other time.

I don't have too much work left to do on it. I would like to get the belts to lay flat....not sure how to do that though >_> Also I need to finish up the gloves and find some shoes that add three inches to my height

Oh, so you're planning to wear some pretty hardcore platforms, then? Good luck! I know of quite a few places around town with platforms (goth, gogo, and the like), if you can't find anything else.
