Well, it depends. Which version of Vincent were you thinking about cosplaying? If you are doing the game version, then the handgun would be perfectly acceptable. Even if you were doing the AC/DoC version, he still has a bunch of different guns. I would just do whatever you want to do, and not worry too much about it.

Ah, okay, well good luck with that.

The one thing I'd suggest is for the barrels of the gun, use PVC pipe. Three pipes = three barrels.

I second Eve's suggestion, there.
PVC pipe is great when it comes to making Vincent's gun.
I had to help a friend with that, once before and PVC pipe was a lifesaver~! <3

Yup, it basically makes the most part of the gun. After that, you just need to sculpt/shape the handle and trigger, and the little figures on the barrels.

Ammo roll? You mean the chambers? I was thinking you may actually want bigger PVC pipes for those. They'd be shorter, obviously, but you would probably want to get wider pipes than those you would use for the barrels.

I would say go as Cloud, since (like Nikki said) we won't be having many people from VIII this year, may leave you without much to do if you cosplayed Squall. There are plenty from VII though, heh.

No, I guess you weren't really. It is mainly Chelseahavoc and Bucket-Stalker. I know they both are just playing around, but nitpicking (even jokingly) can get really taxing after a while. I was trying to answer questions and my answers just weren't good enough, lol. But, I know Chelsea was just joking, so I will let it pass.

theres actualy "potion bottles" being sold at hottopic. i think they were 5 bucks? little tiny things. but i think they had something to do with wow...

Well, they tend to vary from game to game (and usually you don't ever get a clear shot of what they look like in game anyway). The typical idea of what potion bottles look like is the small, round bottle (like in Nikkiolie's avatar pic).

But if you want to get really technical, this is what they look like in Crisis Core (and all of VII by extension, I guess):

Yeah, the Mana and Health Potions, taken from World of Warcraft. They definitely work nicely if you can't find anything else. They are what I used last year. You can get them at Hot Topic, Best Buy, or Fry's. Probably other places too.

The battle isn't going to be that specific. It is just cosplayers playing around. We'll battle until people want to stop or do something else, or switch to different characters. More like us just going through the motions as opposed to doing a REAL battle with rules and HP, MP, and stuff like that.

At least, that's how I'm picturing it.
