Blank: Well, today the situation in Bermecia is--- WAIT, WE HAVE BREAKING NEWS!
Ruby: What is it, Darlin'?
Blank: It seems there has been a freak accident in the Theatre District of Lindblum. A stampede of Moogles, Oglops, Moombas, and Chocobo ran down the streets in a fury. Luckily, no one died, but one was severely injured.
Ruby: What made 'em do that now?
Blank: Apparently one of the local actors set them off by insulting the way they spoke.
~~~
Garnet: Oh sweet Eidolons, Zidane! >.<
Zidane: (In a hospital bed bleeding out of every pore) I... just told 'em... to speak... friggin'... english... @.@
And you two should collaborate! I'm crap at brainstorming, so Kahlan could definitely use a partner, heh
Hmm... well, a chibi version of my MB idea would be fun. Sephy kills Aerith, Aerith comes back and kills Sephy. >: D Or the infamous "Use a phoenix down on Aerith!" "I can't..." "Why?" "... they're all past their expiration date." xD
Zidane gets in trouble and has to de-rust Steiner's armor.
Zidane overprotective at the Nobles trying to get with the Queen.
Zidane when he eventually gets married to Garnet(We know it'll happen) and becomes King. xD (Zidane on a throne... wow)
Squall's apathy/pigheadedness makes Rinoa mad and equals Rinoa = Ultimecia. (Such a fun idea to mess with. XD)
And so many more...
Oh! of course... Amber Sweet!Garnet getting Ether rom Graverobber!Zidane. ^^;;
@Eve: That would be hilarious: someone should bring a film/recording camera to the photoshoot. >: )
Well, given the space we could probably do two or three at a time (if we have the whole block to ourselves), which I would be fine with. We could also just do it one at a time...whatever people feel like doing.
I know there will be a lot of cross-over battles, so if that's the case doing them one at a time may be easier and less-complicated overall.
I think doing them one at a time could be good. It can give people an idea of how to do it and also enjoy the show. I figured each one would be about 5 to 10 minutes.
The music aspect is the only thing that may be a problem. A lot of people want music during the MB, and I think the original idea was to add it in afterward in editing. I just can't figure out how we would have the actual music there, without any electricity or non-headphone speakers.
I think the music should be added in afterwords. It would sound much better anyway. The speakers on the camera wont be able to pick up the sound well.
Also my mom won a video camera in a poker tournament a few weeks ago so I may bring that. It is a little thing but the video is pretty good quality, it is HD after all :P
Oooh, that'd be nice! Yeah, I think it would be cool if we could have multiple cameras going over each battle, so when we mix them we'll have different angles, close-ups, etc.
The only one I have is my little camera. It's 10 mega pixels and can take HD video, but the video will barely, if ever, take a lot of sound because the sound recorder is TINY on the thing. xD Takes good pics, though.
I guess my main thoughts on calling out attacks is that it lets everyone know what you're doing and how to act accordingly. Like, if I did a limit break on someone but didn't call it out, how would anyone but me know that that was a high-power attack (like, in the sense that they would need a potion or something, just to be more dynamic)? I like the idea of doing text in the final version, but I also think for the sake of comprehension, it may be nice to have attacks called out in the battle, if only for our own sakes.
But I do agree, whatever we choose, it should be uniform.
And also, this got me thinking...maybe limit breaks aren't that necessary. Maybe just doing basic attacks would be easier, and still just as fun. *shrug* I don't want to over-complicate it.
So take a chill pill?
No need to be stressed Eve, it's all fun. Bah! Atomos is a patchwork puppet that's put over top of Miroku. Since I don't want to gut a pillow and stuff it, and it works since Miroku's a tad bit smaller than Atomos so it fits like a glove.. kinda
haha, that sounds really cute, Xigbar/Konan. I can't wait to see it. ^_^
And yeah, I just needed a breather. I'm still dying in this heat. I can't wait for Summer to be over.
Anyway, back on topic: I think calling out attacks, like I said, may be a good idea just for the sake of everyone being on the same page. The audio can be cut later on if we want to replace it with text or voice-overs, or whatever - it would just be for the benefit of the moment of battle.
I'll call out my attacks, like healing and summoning [throwing] Atomos, but when it comes to using items.. How would that work? keeping track of HP/Mana or is it infinate untill we decide we've died?
I wasn't gonna keep track of HP. With items and things, it can just be an arbitrary number or effect. If someone wants to die, they can die, lol. (Or if someone does a battle-ender, like Kuja's Ultima, then that would obviously kill everyone anyway).
