I've seen way too many threads that just spam the forums with the ONE question that EVERYONE wants to know:

WHO SHOULD I COSPLAY AS??

Well, I've finally decided to create one thread where everybody can post and get feed back from others easily!

Your posts should include the following:

Photo of yourself or a really detailed description (hair style/color, body type, etc...(also should include your gender, for there are some people that it might be hard to tell))
Anime/Manga/Game series that you like
Characters that you might be concidering on cosplaying
What are you willing to do? (wigs, crossplay, budget, sewing abilities, etc...)

And any other info that you'd like us to know.

Posts by those giving suggetions should include:

The name of the character(s) and from what series they're from
A refrence picture of said character
Suggestions on how they could create said character

And to just make everything clear, I will not allow any negative comments. No saying that someone is ugly and can't cosplay anyone. If any fights or spam happen here I will send a warning message to you. And if it continues, I will inform a mod.

I don't mind things like games. But I DO HAVE: Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Chronicals Of Narnia- Prince Caspian, Harry Potter (Like all five thousand and forty of them.).

And for Manga and Anime? (I shall have to contact my friend. 0_0 She's like master of masters of mangas and animes. :3)

Stevie I would say avoid Misa, just because she is overdone and not often well done.

Small pictures for the sake of keeping the post small.

I'm 5'6 and 140 lbs. I have an athletic body type (so many muscles). Yes that is my real hair and I'm a lady folk.
The first picture is just so you can see my face better and the second is how my hair looks now. Third picture I'll get into in a second.
I like a lot of things but am not keen to the mainstream (Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, Bleach, etc.). I'll wear wigs, do detailed costumes, that whole she-bang. I won't crossplay.

What I'm really here looking for is someone I can cosplay that has huge legs. My legs are really big (see picture 3). My calf measured at the biggest part is around in inches is 17 3/8. I'd try to get rid of it but the only possible way to do that would be starving myself since it's all friggin' muscle. The only one I've been able to come up with is Chun Li but alas, I am most defiantly not Asian.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei was mentioned before but I think you'd make a great Fuura.

Also ever play Dark Cloud? I think everyone has but they forget about it. I would about die if I saw a Dark Cloud group and I think you'd also make a cute Xiao.

I actually think you could pull Chun Li off. In your first picture, it looks like you share similar facial features (the eyes aren't the only part to her, haha). I think it'd be a great costume to do, it would suit you well.

And I'd totally love you for doing it, too, heh.

Do you have a picture of it? The only ones I've seen are her first one from II, the blue one with the long sleeves, and the alternative one with the Femme Fatal pack on IV.

Unforently I can not find any alternate costumes for Cammy with pants.

I suggest just add a pair of pants that matches the costume you will do and call it 'After hours/fight Cammy'

How about Azumanga Daioh? I think you would work for Tomo or Osaka, what do you think?

If you look up spastic and energetic in the dictionary I think it says Tomo.

Of course if you want "AirHead" you could go as Osaka instead, and no I am not implying that you are spastic, or an airhead, but I think it would be a blast to cosplay either one.

You may also consider Shiori Misaka from Kanon

Shiori is quiet and sweet and has a MOE level that is off the chart.

And last, but not least you may try Nagisa Furukawa from Clannad

Both Shiori and Nagisa are older characters (high school age) so you may want to hold off till your a bit older, but you can still set them aside for consideration

If you can wear those gold cats eye contacts or maybe silver ones, you have her down pat.

It's so hard to imagine you without glasses when what I see IS you with glasses. lol. My first thought for you was Kilik from Soul Calibur. I was not able to find his red costume--it was better looking.

You got some muscle on you, boy--put them to use! Your hair is hidden T_T...

The first person I thought of was Hideki from Chobits. The problem with Hideki is that unless you are wearing the My Pleasure uniform nobody will know who you are. It also helps to be with someone who is cosplaying as Chi, but that usually isn't a problem.

Another possibility is to join up with the Host Club crowd as Kyoya Ootori. You would get to keep your glasses, and have almost a guaranteed opportunity to be in many photo sessions.
