Hey everyone, it is going to be my first time going to a live convention like this. I'm so excited, but I really don't really have much done with cosplay outfits and such. Only ideas my friend has given me to wear xD

About me:
- Black shoulder length hair, about 5"4 tall, a bit on the blubber body type, and am female. (P.S I wear glasses)
- Favorite Animes/Mangas are Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn, Kuroshitsuji, and Natsume Yuujinchou.
- My friend wanted me to cosplay as Kyoya Ootori from Ouran and Hatsuharu Shoma from Fruits Basket.
- I'm so willing to crossdress and sew some fabric, but am mostly on the budget side considering my family has a
low income (thrift stores are many places I go too).

Curious what people would suggest for me. Here's a photo, several months old, but nothing's really changed.

I love Final Fantasy, am open to pretty much any anime, though I make sure to know who a character is before cosplaying them. But yes, I'd love to hear who people recommend for me to cosplay. I like doing big guys since I'm a big guy.

Jet Black, perhaps? I haven't watched that much of Cowboy Bebop, but I do know Jet Black (because he is voiced by the same guy who voiced Barret!). What a coinkydink!

Eve, I must say, you would be forever my hero if you did some Jet Set Radio cosplay.

That would probably require you to shave your Man beard off though.

Also Blazblue is out, Iron Tager is awesome and big. Though I think it's a little impossible to get his girth down accurately.

Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur is cool too.

Wow! Thanks for the suggestions, Nikki. I actually shave the beard every year for Kumoricon anyway, so it wouldn't be a thing for me to do it for any other costume. I need to get into Jet Set Radio now, cause I really like how that top guy looks.

And I also would love to do Iron Tager, because he's a beast! And he looks like he would have some fun, challenging props to make.

Help me! Alright, yes I have asked this before, but I never got an aswer

so now im asking again, but with more limited options! I have chosen a few cosplays to choose from, but I need help deciding now. So here is my new pic, and my hair will be staying this short for the rest of the year this year.

I am willing to dye my hair, any color but like super bright neon colors cuz my job wont allow that.
I am about 5'6 almost 5'7,I have a chubby body, but I am woking on that. About 200lbs I think, but it really doesnt look like it when you see me. Green/blue eyes, and make up can be done anyway. Pale skin, but I can darken up a little bit. I have planned, three different cosplays.

You actually remind me a lot of Millie from Trigun. She's a really cool character, and carries an enormous gun! What's not to love? lol

You could also do Yukari-sensei from Azumanga Daioh.

If dying your hair is an option, you could do Shinobu from Ninja Nonsense (Ninin ga Shinobuden).

I was wondering if you thought I would make a good Allen (D. Gray-Man). I would be in his casual clothes; white shirt with black vest and red bow tie-thing, black pants, long boots, etc.

I agree, Sekitan, you actually could do Vincent (although I know you have binding issues and Vincent is about as slender and narrow as a human being could be, so maybe that wouldn't be too comfy for you...).

I have some ideas, but it would help if you had any full shots of yourself.

omg! Your so cute! If you like D.Gray-Man, I think you would make an adorable Allen!
I may be wrong, but judging by the animes you listed, it sounds like you enjoy darker, creepier animes.
You might be able to pull off a gothic lolita cosplay, if your into that kind of stuff.
You also mentioned Kuro Shitsuji, you would probably make a really cute Finny to!

Ehhh. Seeing that originally I had only 2 cosplays planned for Kumori Con this year and NOW it seems that I only have ONE cosplay planned for the three day weekend. >___>;

So I come to my fellow cosplayers for ideas. I like wigs (though long ones are difficult) and crossplaying is okay~
Only big request here is that these are EASY cosplays. Like... really easy cosplays... ^^ (I am extremely pathethic, here. D: )

Why it's very nice to know there are people in the world that care about other people's eye sight for once, but mine didn't hurt in the slightest fortunately. I actually think you'd make a really good Light if your into crossplaying and stuff.

OMGAWD I've ALWAYS wanted to do Vincent! but his cosplay would be so frickin hard to do (well not if I bought it, but I never find any good ones TTxTT) but thank you for the suggestions. My sister was looking over my shoulder and saw your picture and was like "she'd make a good Grell" and then was "yeeeeaaah!" so there's another one for ya, I'd like to see you with some razor sharp teeth, that'd be wicked. But I might consider Vincent later on again because I'm going to get red contacts for my Sebastian cosplay anyway and so I can kill 1 1/4 of a bird with one stone!...I guess....eh heh

I WILL:
-Wear wigs (but prefer them to be on the shorter end)
-Crossplay
-Cosplay from anime/manga I'm not familiar with if the character is amazing enough (which means I'd be immersing myself into a new series super quickly)

I WILL NOT:
-Do an extremely difficult cosplay because of lack of skillz, time and money.
-Wear contacts (next time... >___>)
-Cut off an arm or leg
-Wear immodest clothing. No mini skirts/shorts, cleavage or stomach for me.

I'm about 5"5' and weigh approx. 135lbs. (I look bigger than I am. Silly mother and her big ribcage.) My eyes are a greenish color and my hair is an ugly "goldish brown." I'm kinda pale and my eyes are small and squinty.

Sekitan: If you do decide to do Vincent at any time in the future, I can help you with the claw/gauntlet. I cosplayed Vincent a few years ago and (although I didn't personally fit Vincent as a cosplayer very well) I feel the gauntlet turned out really well.

You could pull of any of the Azumanga girls, with the exception of Chiyo, Nanoha from StrikerS, Haruhi from TMOHS, Yui from K-ON.
