@ Gryffinclaw Princess - Great wigs! Very versatile. You could do lots of black-haired characters - Sailor Mars, Kikyou from Inuyasha, Yuffie from FFVII/AC, Misao or Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin, and I think you'd make a great Kotoko from Chobits!

@ ishpumalibu - In that suit, he'd make a great Nerima Daikon Bros. character.

I rather not do contacts or wigs so if you see a character that fits me naturally that'd be AWSOME.

Alright guys, help me out!

I am in search for something to cosplay for Kumoricon 2011 that is simple, and DOES NOT require a wig (I plan to grow my hair out all year and am willing to cut it to shoulder length) I really want something simple so I can enjoy the con more freely, without cosplay restrictions, but still participate in cosplaying. Doing Skuld and Lina Inverse with those stairs was a nightmare, I can't imagine what that walk between hotels in either rain or hot weather will be like. I WAS going to be Yuuko from xxxHolic, but I cannot do that knowing about that two hotel plan. Also by simple, I mean easy to get on/off, not detail in the costume itself

Here's a pic of me (I also plan to hopefully get down at LEAST two/three more pant sizes this year. Now I'm a 14, I'd like to at least be near an 8 ) I'm 5'6"

I've also had no bangs and swept them to the side to blend in with my hair

Well I'll go ahead and quote my first response...

I was just watching this today, but have you seen/heard of Mezzo or Mezzo Forte? The main character, Mikura, is definitely on the tough side, a warrior/mercenary. You actually look a lot like her, and would probably have fun cosplaying as her. ^_^

I haven't seen Disgaea, so I can't say anything on that (Sorry  ) but if anything else comes to mind I'll be sure to send it your way.

*Here are some other suggestions:
Rikku (Final Fantasy X or X-2) - You definitely have her face and eyes already, so if you're not afraid of jumping on a bandwagon, Rikku could be amazing for you.
Cheza (Wolf's Rain) - Another one that I think fits your face and physique to a T.

Anyway, hope this can help!

I have only been watching DSA. I read briefly about Mezzo Forte and really want to see it (but I'm a glutton for punishment, so.......yay?). I agree about the show, though, I love how over the top it is at times - and the two "sidekicks" are awesome. I love those two guys. "Ramen again?!" heh

The girl warrior? Do you mean Etna? Or one of the classes. If you want a simple disgaea cosplay you could be a wonderful Plenair. And you shuld do digaea, because My friend and I are going to be Prinnies next year, and would love to see some fellow demons walking around. Do it Dood.

I'm about 5'6" and on the pudgey side. I'm willing to do any kind of cosplay. Wigs, crossplay, and maybe contacts. I can't do armor, however. Unless someone wants to do it for me >>;; The anime/manga that I actually keep up with/have finished are Elfen Lied, Hetalia, DBZ, aaand various others that I can't think of atm. I'm more of a video game person, and am willing to cosplay nearly anything, except TWEWY or Kingdom Hearts. I love Kingdom Hearts to death, but I'm just not interested in cosplaying from it :/
I've been thinking of doing a Link and Dark Link with my boyfriend recently, but I wanna have some other plans just in case. I also prefer scary/creepy things to cosplay as. I've cosplayed the Witch and a Splicer so far (successfully). i'm female btw.

I was walking around con space this year, when I noticed a gentleman with glasses and a long ponytail wearing a red and black yojimbo jacket. I thought to myself "Huh, that looks like Walter in a Yojimbo jacket. I wonder if it's the Walter guy (aka the guy with the Walter icon. I couldn't recall your name at that time...sorry) from the forums?" So I got a little closer, got a peek at his badge, and sure it enough, it was you!

I'm fine with crossplaying, wearing wigs, etc. I'm 5'3 1/2", female, and I do wear contacts. Sorry if the picture of me is blurry, but it is very recent.

I'm fine with cosplaying someone from an anime or video game that I've never played before, I'll just have to get into the series and learn more about the character. :3 In the past, I've cosplayed at Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII Advent Children), Itachi Uchiha (Naruto), and Lightning Farron (Final Fantasy XIII). I have a few unfinished cosplays too, but we don't speak of these just yet. :3

I straightened my hair in that pic, it's normally curly, and I'm gonna workout during the summer to lose the extra skin. I know since I'm Hispanic and my skin color is brown kinda limits my choices if I want to get it right. I was thinking Sado/Chad from Bleach, but eh...

Okies so, now I need some ideas. I need two more cosplays to do for Kumoricon. Ive already got Minnie Mouse. My budget cannot go over $300 cuz I still gotta pay for the hotel. (Staying at the red lion, anyone wanna join?) Im willing to dye my hair, wear a wig, or whatever.
Im 5'8", Im slightly overweight, my hair changes color all the time, currantly it is dark red. I have green/blue eyes, cant wear contacts but can do glasses. Im pale, but with some makeup I cna be darker or lighter. I can paint my face, or use skin paint and change my skin to weird colors.
