Hey! I'm brand new here. First time cosplayer, and sooo excited for KCon 2011!! I had originally thought of Yuna from X-2 (gunner), but that transformed into other stuff.

Eyes: Greenish/Blue (Willing to wear contacts)
Hair: Dark DAARK Brown/Black [Naturally straight/A little past collarbone](Willing to spray dye or buy a wig)
Height: 5'5(5'4?) (Willing to wear high heels)
Weight: 142lbs (but loosing. Willing to wear shorts/some midriff, but not to much in the plunging necklines department)
Likes: Final Fantasy (7, 8, 10, 10-2, 12, 13), Zelda (all, especially TP), Hayao Miyazaki, Tomb Raider, Mario, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Tamora Pierce Novels, Fiesta (Outspark), & Chibi Vampire.
Willing: Buy Contacts, Buy Wig(s?), Sew(as long as it's not to complicated), Build with cardboard(I made a stormwing costume. Cardboard? NP), Possibly Crossplay, Open-shirt bind, Short shorts, Corsets, Long nails, Body Spray Paint, Build weapons, etc.

Hahaha I'm bored and I think I should probably start thinking of cosplay ideas since there's only a year to prepare wait what.

Anyway. I'm 5'0, 99.0 lbs, aaand 13 THEREFORE I HAVE ROOM TO NOT BE AS VERTICALLY CHALLENGED BETWEEN NOW AND THEN.

Ummn, I've been planning on cosplaying Kenny from Southpark, Liechtenstein from Hetalia, and or Meiko the Vocaloid. And Kululu from Sgt. Frog what.
Judging by those you can probably tell I'm into Hetalia, Southpark, and Vocaloid.. stuff. things. BUT I have been into Death Note, gotten into Durarara, anddd woah putting too much thought into this I'll shut up now.

I have no problems with wigs or binding. I'm as poor as Kenny but I'll be getting a job next year anyway so w/e. I do not have a sewing machine, and have to sew by hand which causes DEATH to my fingers, soooooo. Yeah.

bluewolf130: I'm not much of an expert on cosplays, but I have to admit, the first thine that went through my head was Lulu from Final Fantasy X. I think it's just your face shape. Another one I think you could pull off is Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. Like I said, I'm not the best, but its what I saw.

Of course it would take some pretty good acting to pull off her character.  You would also need someone to cosplay Hatchin for best effect.

I'm 15, a girl if you couldn't tell, but I don't mind crossplaying. I can do wigs, not so fond of contacts but if the cosplay was really cool I might use them. About five-foot-five, 175 pounds though I don't look it, kind of hourglass-y (larger hips/bust, smaller waist).

I'm mostly interested in shonen stuff, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Soul Eater, Reborn!, that kind of thing, but I don't mind shojo. I'm also willing to check out new series. I don't play video games so I'm probably not going to cosplay from them. Whatcha got for me?

Depending on the shade of blonde her hair is and your sewing abilities/budget, she sounds like she could be a good Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura, or maybe Kisa from Fruits Basket.

Anime/Manga/Game series that you like: I like a lot of stuff, but I've kind of run through the list of things that I like, and I was hoping to hear what other people think would look good. So just throw out suggestions!

Characters that you might be concidering on cosplaying: Maes and Gracia Hughes (FMA), Chrona (me) and Stein or Spirit (Him) (Soul Eater), Pokemon gijinka (Cubone for me, haven't thought of one for him).

We did Mustang and Hawkeye last year (FMA), and I've been Winry (FMA), Misa (Death Note), and Fuu (Samurai Champloo).

What are you willing to do? (wigs, crossplay, budget, sewing abilities, etc...): I don't mind crossplay, he's not down for it (lol), budget is preeeetty small, I can sew really well and would prefer to sew, wigs are fine, would rather use our own hair if possible, but willing to dye it.

I'm thinking of going as a female version of Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun.  I can either go as a Nicholas or Nichole.  What you all think?  It will be pretty obvious with the cross punisher that I'm building.  thinking of getting a black wig and putting it up into a french roll holding it in with chopsticks.  Dark sunglasses and fake cigarette.  need some feedback.  O-+ or O->
