I don't think you have anything to worry about. Even if they do just remind them who you are. It isn't that big of a deal. If you play it off as nothing then they will too ^_^

No, I actually try every year to work on that. I try to be open, and smiley and laugh a lot and show the fun and joy that I am having on the inside. It just never comes out the way I would like, though. I'm just too inexpressive a person, it always seems forced and phony.

But, I won't stop trying, lol

haha, no, it's all good. I don't feel bad about it at all. Like I said, I've grown up with it. People have always been intimidated/scared on first impressions with me, all my life it's been that way. Then they get to know me and everyone says the same thing: "I thought you were going to be so mean, but you're just a cuddly teddy bear!"

its just because you are big is all (not big in a bad way). You come off as scary or intimidating, it just takes a little time to get to know you. I have a lot of friends like that so I wasn't too scared or intimidated at the beginning XD

I was always the tallest kid in my classes, all up until high school when people finally started getting their growth spurts and getting taller. I think I grew really quick early on and then just stopped, heh.

But, I'm alright with my height. It suits me well enough.

I have a big big friend that isn't your kinda big. He is very rough on the outside but he is.....well.....kinda nice XD We just have the same horrible mean sense of humor XDDDD

Doubtful, my whole family is short, my sister is the tallest at 5'4'' (she's definitely the black sheep out of us, ironically, she's also the most normal). Also, aside from her, all our feet stopped at size six, which is awesome, cause my grandma has really good taste in shoes and she gives me her old ones, I just got some really cute sandles from her.

Anyways, I'm getting used to my height, I guess I'd rather be short than tall. Growing up my mom always told me that if people said I was short, I should say 'good things come in small packages.' XD

And despite the scary first impression, you're really awesome and people notice it. ^.^

Heh Im 5"11posibly 6 foot by now) an 210lbs. Trust me being big n tlal is no picnic.

Shopping for cloths is a nightmare.

On the upside I can store things on top of the cuppords at home and only the tall notice whats up there

shoping for clothes while short isnt always easy either XD the pants end up too long a lot. I'm 5 ft 3" and the oldest in my group of friends....... But I LOOK the youngest because I'm so short and yea... lol There was a girl on the delegation for japan that was really tall and 14 but everyone thought she was 17, I'm 17 and everyone thought I was 14 >.< we are opposite XD

Whenever people tell me I'm short, I tell them short people make better ninjas (because we're smaller and stuffles)

I'm pretty short at 5' 2" and they say I'm done growing. I'm shorter than everyone else in my family, but my two best girl friends are both 4' 11" (there super petite Asian girls). Then my best guy friend is Vietnamese and like 5' 9" - 6' 0" (I'm not sure, but my neck hurts after I've been talking to him for a long time, XD).
