I know some people on the forums know me, but that's practically it. I was a regular on the forums, starting like a month before con last year, and only recognized a few people, this year should be much better.

The problem for me is that meet-ups don't seem to interest me too much anymore because there are too many immature kids....as long as I know that some of the mature people are going then I will go.

Most people can do that for you Nikki. I know a bunch of people that'll see pics of you dressed as something else and they'll be all "that was the really good Temari last year, right?" and I'll be like "Yeah, her names Nichole, I've never really talked to her but she seems really awesome" and they just smile and say that they can't wait to see your next cosplay.

I'm also WAY too shy to get noticed. I'll try, but I need people who'll get noticed with me, because I'll freak if I get noticed alone!
Then again, I've only been to 1 con and 2 meet ups, I have to cut myself some slack, I'm still not quite with all of this cosplay stuff yet. But it has inspired me to sew, something that I normally would not be caught dead doing.

It's ok rose! I'm on a diet (it's ok, I'm just eating health foods, and my mom would eat my soul if I weighed anymore, I think if I don't loose weight she's gonna stop feeding me! (she's a health food fanatic, and now weighs less than me thanks to that damned weight watchers)) and I still cheat! You're pretty as is, a few extra pounds isn't gonna affect that!

haha, you're pacing and "con-Growth" is the same as mine. By my third year I was completely disenchanted with the whole meet-up concept for the exact same reason, lol. Phunny.

I wish I could be well known, I mean I have a good amount of friends but it would be fun to be known for my cosplay : ) and mayb ei will after next year with my super top secret ultra cosplays I got two that are going to hopefully blow peoples socks off, problem is one will take me all year to make : / xD

Whoo, randomly jumping into this just because it interested it me.

I actually don't like it when people know who I am and I have never met them in my life. I've had people come up to me at random K-con events and at Sakuracon who knew my name and I'd never seen them before. It made me a little uncomfortable. Don't let that put you off talking to me though, just sorry if I seem a little weird at first. I'm just not used to it.

Its hard for Hugh Laurie to be known across the U.S.
Not saying its impossible, but still. America is a big place. So many cosplayers and Anime lovers here @_@

Ha ha, that would probably be the best way to go about it. I'm not rude about it at all, I just notice that I can be a pretty uncomfortable about the situation. I've just had some internet creepers net-stalk me before and confront me in real life and since then I've been kinda put off by people coming up like they already know me.

the problem was that you are wearing another cosplay taht day right? i vote you just wear cloud for the skits cause it should only take 1-2 hours then when your done change back. if you dont have a room to store the costumes you can just use mine.

I only agreed to being in two skits, I am not really fond of being signed up for things without my permission. If that is what this group is about then I don't want to be part of it. People have been saying that I am going to be in things or be the organizer of stuff without even asking my permission and that really annoys me. I don't like acting in front of other people.

his names Chris : ) but a lot of the internet knows him as "Black Gai" I met him in real life before i knew how well known he is. but hes known in other countrys as well, and from what I can tell has a bit of a big fan bases. In real life i can tell why hes so awesome xD hes real nice and has great charisma.

Aww Thankyou ^^ I think I just went on a splurge to celebrate the end of being a sophmore. YAY for being a JUNIOR now ^^

the problem isnt so much gaining more weight its that the extra junk food makes me feel sick now. I have been eating tons of fruits and healthy stuff so when I spent a day eating breakfast: Pancakes (3 cuz I ruind one and nobody would eat it... big mistake X_X) Lunch: Mac and Cheese (cuz shelby made some for us before we played resident evil) and dinner 1 pancake and 2 peices of bacon and a lot of blue berries.. and then this morning I had french toast X_X thats more junk food than I have had in an entire month. I hate soda now except for strawberry soda and sprite but even then I can only stand like half a glass. I also hate Cheetos now and the only chips I will eat are cheddar and sour cream... I literally kicked the habit by banning the foods from my diet for so long 0.o its so strange... and now junk food makes me feel ill so I would rather eat the healthy stuff, and I'll remember that when my stomach ache goes away >.<

yeah my belly feels odd right now, I feel odd haha, like I'm gonna expload but not... I dont know how to explain it X_X. But it hurt for a while this morning until I took a jog lol and worked some of it off.
