I just got a rubber band put in my braces to correct my bite last Thursday. I didn't enjoy it in the slightest at first, but now I can play music on it with my tongue.

All this talk about braces make me depressed. T_T (Congrats on getting them off, though, Black~Rose~ :3)
I was supposed to get mine off sometime between late August and December, but I haven't had an appointment since early July. D: < (Horribly busy orthodontist's schedule. ;~; ) And to think- I could have had my braces off before Kumoricon and school pictures. Dx (I have an appointment tomorrow, but I doubt I'll get them off now. T_T)

I think they created Dentists just to give us such a bad time (and fix our teeth, but who care's about that) they pick at your mouth, rip teeth out, put metal contraptions on them, and give us the most vile thing in existence... fluoride, I would much rather swallow nails than willingly take fluoride, especially since that stuff oozes out of the special teeth guard, and begins going down your throat, if they could come up with a better form of fluoride, I wouldn't hate going to the dentist... oh, and let's not even start on the smell in there, nothing worse than sniffing rubber and floating teeth particles... if you didn't already guess, I despise the dentist with a passion, and hate having to go... By the way Rose, congrats on getting your braces taken out.

same here, even my wisdom teeth were surprisingly straight, and they came in far to quick compared to most people's for some reason.

oh, you know you do... Because those aren't normal tumors, their fun tumors, the one's you obtain when waiting for something that you have been waiting for all year, and the only way to be rid of them is to go to the thing you have been waiting for (in this case, Kumoricon)

Eve has the right idea on fun tumors... But it's not only when it's filled with anime, it's also filled with images of video games, panels, and making you want to continue wearing your cosplay (the last one being 50/50 chance of having that symptom) and it is your job to refrain from wearing your cosplay and keeping your self pre occupied till you arive at the hotel.

But on a different note, you all need to go and finish, you are now on the last stretch of time, so you really need to work on it so that way you don't rush yourself and possibly screw up.

I know how to sew, but the pattern is super complicated and I need help.
I should work on my Lucas shirt, I have all of the stuff for that. But I might need help with that too, this sucks.

My fiancee knows how to sew, I just have to wait for her to help me. I'm sure she will, she just always has so much to do, it is hard to just sit around and wait and hope it gets done.

So I'm not the only one who doesn't know how to sew! Well, I didn't before...and through MUCH trial and error, I have taught myself both hand sewing and machine. It's a MIRACLE I tell ya! A frickin' MIRACLE!

lol. I haven't used a pattern yet. Just looking @ one confuses me, so I just rely on my own sketching and planning. "JUST WING IT! " was pretty much what I was doing... Progress still going, now that I'm back home! Good luck to everyone else--we're stretching towards the finish!
