I've yet to use FW ink but I will be very soon to dye my Neptune wig. When I get the ink I'll post pictures and tell you how it went~

As for sharpies, they shouldn't get on anything as long as you rinse it in water after you're done.

^ Layer it and use mousse to fluff it. Also, you could use a curling iron to flip it some more, just be careful, don't leave it on as long as with real hair.

There's a ton of good Len wigs on ebay, I reccomend you and your Rin buying at the same time from the same place so that they match ~

Teddy, if your Rin is using her real hair, just try to get your wig as close to her hair color as possible, makes pair cosplays look a lot better when something that's supposed to be the same is actually the same.

Okay xD I need a really nice and somewhat cheep wig for Kagamine Rin T~T I can't seem to find nice ones anywhere.

So I saw I Cosworx advertisement while on Cosplay.com, I've been on that site many a time, but as a friend of mine (jacob_blackfeather) is being Xigbar, and Xigbar has slicked back hair in a low ponytail, this wig stood out to me:

But upon going to the site, I couldn't seem to find that particular wig.
I was wondering if anyone knew if it was still being sold, and if not, what wig would work better for Xigbar?
Or maybe a few tips on styling slicked back wigs =D

I am open to doing that, I just need to find a longer wig that won't blow my budget in the right color.

His hair is canonically white, but often colored gray or silver. Do what you want, neither option is wrong.

I think I'll go for the white. Iconically (and acording to random author's notes in volume 1 of the manga) Allen's hair is white, so I'll just stick with that.

I don't plan on cutting my hair before now and Kumoricon--which means it could end up being really long. How do I fit it under a wig without the wig being noticeably elevated above my head? I mean, my hair is pretty enormous already.

Pin curls.
Here's a great tutorial on doing pin curls and then french braids in the back for long hair. I have also tried pig tails, and those work too if you can fit them in your wig right. (I can't french braid on my life. -.-")

Wig caps can save your life.
Those net ones with the holes in the top?
They are wonderful, I have seen people with very long hair easily stuff it up under a wig =w=

I've always like Sheryl's hair if there's bits of blond and pink, and not just a solid color. It's hard to tell if that is what's going on or not from the picture though.

I have a list from that site we both go on with (from their point of view) reliable wig sellers.

I dunno what Felix means exactly, but I'd look for a greyer blue.
Also, wigs with bangs don't tend to slick back very well, and his hair is definitely slicked back. His hairline also just forward in a crazy way. Not to the same degree as Axel's, but whatever wig you use might need some wefts added to the front just to give the hairline that shape.

I meant that the colour of his hair is lighter and greyer than the colour of the wig. The wig you showed is too vibrant/saturated. (You might want to search for an actual screencap or official art as well. Fanart doesn't make the best references, since you don't know how accurate the artist was. Sometimes we're too lazy to look up refs and BS the things we can't remember.)

I'm having trouble for two of my character I wanna cosplay, Theres Maka Albarn from soul eater and Rukia from bleach. I was thinking of using ebay to find already styled wigs, but I'm not sure if I should trust it.

For Maka ( http://ocha.nierchi.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/maka.jpg), I was thinking of getting one off ebay, or getting one of these: http://www.cosworx.com/product.php?productid=26308&cat=2495&page=1 from cosworx, but it seems they're alway out of stock of the color I want. How often do they get back in stock? can I back order? Should I just go with one off ebay?

For Rukia (see signature.) My only thought was ebay but most of them that are on there look slightly in accurate., but is there a good place or one I can EASILY style myself?
