Truthfully, I think any of them would work. You just need to check how thick they are in the back so you can pull it up into the ponytail for Dei-chan, and not have crappy netting show.

I just bought my first Wig and have no clue how to care, style, or wear it...Kinda excited about it, I obviously won't look as good as the girl in the pic but O well.   :D

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110689404274&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:1123

Will probably spend half of day two as a female version of Wolfwood and the other half as the proper version of Wolfwood.  All I would have to do is take off the ponytails which clip on and off...so it's like getting two wigs and I think that is pretty cool.

Teddy, I think the first and third are good ones (the second is way too light). But the third looks most like Haruhi's hair style.

Drauska, just make sure you have a wig head to put it on, and be sure to brush it, especially after you wear it, b/c it will get TANGLED!!! At least the ponytails, the base you wont have to worry about much.

My friend needs help finding a wig for professor Juniper from pokemon black/white. We're expecting needing a base wig and an extension for the ponytail/bun, but we're still in need of some help, haha.

now i need help chosing my possible Haruhi wig. (Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran~)

http://www.cosplay.com/marketplace/showproduct.php/product/40113/cat/1

I agree with nekovamp13  first or third one is good. I too lean towards the third tho.

also just cuz I've boughten from them before

http://amphigory.com/wigs_fy_twiggy.html

This wig would also work just get it in chestnut brown or dark brown. I'm only suggestiong because I used this wig for my Haruhi.

Thank you so much, I think I'm going to look into the last one you suggested. The dark purple looked better than the blue with the costume is what I had decided with my sister. Thank you again!

I'm looking to  cosplay as Mammon/Viper from Katekyo Hitman Reborn and need to find a good wig  quickly. I'm willing to pay a little more but its my first time cosplaying with a wig so I don't want to have to butcher  a  good wig with my inexperience.   Thanks in advance. ^^

How quickly do you need the wig? Epic cosplay has great wigs and ships fast, whereas Arda has great wigs as well, but their shipping is a bit wonky right now due to their con schedule. Ebay shipping can take weeks, but there are a few shops that are decent. Here's a good wig I found on Arda-

(would need to adjust the bangs)
And here are a few from ebay:

If you order a wig within the next two weeks or so you will most likely get it on time. If not then it might have gotten lost in the mail.

i don't know if this was answered on one of the previous 60 pages, so i will ask this anyway.
last year my hair was short, so i didn't have any problems with my wig. however i've been growing my hair out and it's now down past my shoulder blades. can someone recommend how to put my hair up into the wig this year? i'd rather not cut it short again (tho i will if i have to). any suggestions would b great! :)

Have you used a wig cap before? It's the easiest and probably cheapest way to hide your hair and keep it from showing while wearing a wig.

I have short (but VERY thick) hair and I usually just shove it under a mesh wig cap.

When it was longer I had a few methods:
-braid my hair into sections, pin in place, and put on wig cap
-put sections of hair into ponytails, pin all flat, put on wig cap
-pull hair into big ponytail at back of head, pin up towards scalp
I have ridiculously thick hair and these all worked for me, and at the time mine was longer than shoulder-length. You just need some pins and a wig cap. I suggest mesh ones, you can usually get them for a few bucks and most wigs even come with them.

See, I got my Luka wig a while ago but I need to cut the bangs and I REALLY don't want to mess it up.

^The same way long wigs are kept pretty. c:

  • When you're not wearing them, keep them in loose braids.
  • When wearing them, take a couple minutes to detangle them with a wig brush or wide-toothed comb (start at the bottom) every so often.
  • Optional, but pre-treating with a silicone lubricant helps reduce tangles.

Oooh. D: Curly wigs are similar. Just make sure they're properly stored inside their netting/bags, and after you brush them, reform them with your fingers.

Guys, if you're looking for a good quality wig for a low price I recommend this site: http://www.wig-supplier.com/
Their wigs are cheap and really good quality and the shipping is pretty can go from $3 to $10 if you're only buying one wig.

So I got this really nice long silver wig for my cosplay as Anju Maaka (see picture <----- for reference), but it needs some styling. I'm am scared to death of ruining the wig and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of someone who knows what their doing when it comes to wig styling. Preferably someone who doesn't charge too much for their services.

Thats kind of a general question. There are so many different ways to cut hair for the different hair styles. Could you be more specific?

One general pointer is: Hold your scissors vertical when cutting. Not horizontal. It makes the cuts look more natural.
