I have several old wigs I'm not using anymore because they've either been "upgraded," or the costume they went with is no more. They aren't "horribly mistreated," for the most part, but I'd sell or trade them to get them out of the way. Here's what I have:
- One semi-long black with bangs (think Yomiko Readman but just past the shoulder)
- One mid-length purple (and when I say "purple" I mean the purple most places give you, which is pretty light)
...I also have a set of some unused, unworn dark brunette human hair sewn to a long strip. (Yes, it's store-bought.) There's a lot of it, but the hair strands themselves are not very long. I used some of it to make a ponytail, which I still have (but I'm not sure you'd want it). You'd probably have a field day with the leftovers if you like messing with hair, Osplapedo.
I don't go to meetups very often, but I go to staff meetings all the time. I'm also going to Sakura Con, if by some chance that helps. If you're going to one of those, I'll bring my wigs along. Let me know.
