I want to get an Organization cosplay group together for kumoricon 09 and maybe even a photo shoot before/after con.

I would like to have one of each member. If you are interested let me know and send me some pictures of costumes you have done before.

Sorry about that. But there will be plenty of duplicates. I am more of trying to get the harder organization members.

Yeah I know they are. But it helps to ask people. Like I might try asking the Rude from kumoricon last year if he would join in. I think he would be a good Xaldin

Also I think it would be pretty sweet if we did get all 13 together if we all got our corresponding shirts XD

Yeah that is too bad. I got the Larxene one at Sakuracon, and Marie and Anna got Roxas and Axel ^_^

Yeah~ I'm planning on cosplaying Demyx at this years Kumoricon. : D (You've prolly seen me as Demyx before, Nikki. :3)

And I totally want the number IX sweatshirt from KingdomArts like burning. : O I was bugging my mum about it a few weeks back.

You know, you guys can always have more than one Demyx if you like. I have more than just one costume for this con. Cosplay Contest, Cosplay Chess and general D.Gray-Man insanity besides those two will also be on my list. Three days, four costumes. Again. I'll be in and out of costumes probably a bit faster than you can blink.

I'll still be Demyx, though! Put too much work into that sitar not to.

I wanted to post an update. As of now (this is subjected to change) this group would be meeting the Sunday of the con.

I also want to make this a little more fair to other people. I am trying to put together the best group possible so if you are interested in joining please PM me

Thats only five more out of 14! If you have a friend that is wondering who they should cosplay as you could always mention it to them

As for the costume we can talk it over

Lets start off with something simple: Gloves
I am using my moms leather gloves, there doesn't need to be much detailing in them.

Next the jacket...
I can't sew to save my life so I am buying mine. And just a personal issue of mine is that I like things to look the best so the place I am getting my jacket is quite expensive ($200) But for those of you interested. http://kingdom-arts.org/costumes.html She was at Sakuracon selling the Organization tee-shirts. I would say for people making their jackets try to get material that will give a leather/pleather look like the ones in the picture please ^_^;

Boots:
Despite what many people think their boots aren't lace up. They have a flat squareish toe. I was lucky enough to already have the perfect ones

And Dana (this is small details you don't have to do it) the girls have heels. If you really want to go into detail there is a design at the top of them but I am not too sure if I am going to add it or not.

Detailing

Wigs: Wigs are another very important thing for a good costume. I get all my wigs at [img=http://stores.ebay.com/Professional-Only]http://Professional only[/img]Professionalonly on ebay.

Maybe latter I will go through and look for some wigs that might work for the characters.

OH yes the beads. I'm not sure if I am going to order them or make them....which ever I choose they are going to look like this and if someone wants to order these ones you can get them here for $25.

Weapons: I would like for everyone to have their characters weapons but I can understand if you don't have the time, money, or the skills to do them. There are a lot of tutorials on cosplay.com on how to make the weapons. If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I can try to help out as best as possible.

The last thing that I want to address is optional but it would really pull a costume together. Contacts. Some of the characters, such as Saix have yellow eyes and it would look so much better with contacts. Other characters it isn't much of a big deal. I am going to look in to getting some prescription ones (covered by my insurance) the next time I go to the eye doctor.

So that is what I have to say about the costumes. If anyone has any questions, concerns or objections or if you have any better suggestions please let me know.

Also the reason why I am getting the jacket at a different place from the beads is that I submitted the quote form at the place where I am getting the beads and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Dana I don't think the contacts are an issue for you. I think her eyes are a normal color. I was more worried about character who have strange color eyes.

As for the material that is alright. If it cost too much don't worry about it. I would take a look though. There is some material that LOOK like pleather but costs half as much. But again, if it is an issue then don't worry about it.

Sounds like a plan.

I'm sure there is some sort of material that will give off a shine when you take a picture. That might not be a bad idea. To take a picture of the material and see how it turns out

LAWL dA is broken. I was trying to find a good picture of Marly to check what eye color he has (blue, so I'm good on the contact issue) and it kept saying there were zero deviations to display for 'All Time' which was a little weird. So I checked by putting in Akuroku and got zero and went, "Oh! Yup, yeah they're broken."

I don't think you need to worry about it. I mean you don't plan on walking hunched over. So even if it touched the ground when you bend over or sit it should drag, just touch. And their coats aren't long enough to touch the ground when they are standing so if yours done then it needs to be shorter ^_^

i wanted to cosplay xion this year but don't know if i have the funds to complete her in time~.
not really throwing myself out there for involvement in the group since xion is taken & everything,
but just wanted to stop by & say something since i had been lurking around for kingdom hearts activity this year at the con & of course it happens when i decided to not check in for awhile xD .

i know your pain about the expensive-ness of the people that make the awesome coats nikkiolie,
main reason i'm not sure if i can do xion,

i was going for the lining if i remember correctly myself Cx .
my total for the xion coat was like 290$, at the most sdfghjkl.
the only thing i can complain about regarding her jackets is the unfunctional hood-- since to have the hood accurate it would ruin how the hood & collar are supposed to lay and look.
i mean i think you can use it, but its just not accurate, not that it matters THAT much hah.

i need a job.

Okay, so I'm really leaning toward the orgxiii.org one, but the functional hood has only been made with the smaller type of zipper so far, and IDK if they'd be able to do it with the bigger one. Would that be a problem nikki?

It took a while for the Ogrxiii.org to respond and they wont be able to get your coat to you any earlier than August 1st. I went with the kingdom-arts because I personally though that the few differences there were looked better there.

Saeru (orgxii.org) was the one i contacted regarding my coat.
i had pretty much dicussed everything with her & she sent me the contract & everything for when i'm able to afford the jacket.
i had a chance to have a opening allll the way back in december but had to turn it down cause of the need of funds.

i'm still fighting myself over the hood thing sdfghjkl.
i don't know which i want.
i'm getting the big zipper & i think i was gunna go with black myself for xion.
even though in-game it looks more dark grey?
in the rendered models of xion in magazine shots it looks black.
i hate nomura for doing this thing with the jacket differences & the hair colour variations 8'C .
makes deciding harder pah.
