I've actually been thinking of getting a card holder...so I can carry my deck, in case anyone would want to duel, or get their fortune read. Or something. XD And, if I wear it with either cosplay, I don't think it would be too visible.

Yeah, I bought it. I've been trying to style it...the thing is, though, that the wig is kind of thin, I guess...XD I cut the wings, and tried to glue the cut-off hair to the wings, to give them more volume... Do you think that could work? I've been using Aqua Net hair-spray, and got2b glued.

Do you have any pictures that I could look at for reference?

Wig-styling gets really sticky, doesn't it. >_> Like I said, solid-ifying would be nice...but, I keep having these visions of the wings just, like, falling off as I'm walking, or someone accidentally pulling them off...XD

For some reason, I might look for white extensions. I don't know why, nor do I know how I would use them...but, I've heard people talk about "sewing" the wings into their hair, so, I just automatically thought "hair extensions," I guess. XD

Hmmm, that would be interesting. Though, I wouldn't worry about them falling off. I'd say once they're done and solid, mess with them a bit to see how strong they are, and make your desision from there!

I know! I have a Duke and a Joey, and I know of a couple of Kaibas! I'm very excited!

I wish I could bring both, but, I won't have a hotel room, so...well, I guess I could commute back and forth for costumes (...it'd be for the sake of Yu-Gi-Oh! fun...XD), but I would really prefer not to do that. And, hm...I'm not sure which is my favorite yet, so we'll see when they're both completed!

To get a wider variety, it might be nice to be Johan, since I know other people have been talking about being Bakura, though my Bakura cosplay will probably end up...cooler, I hope. I wonder if I'll be the only GX cosplayer... >_>

It looks like it's working. I'd say just make sure they stay up and then put some Got2B on the tips to keep it at a point, and it should be fine. Keep it up!

Oh, I know, right? When I'm really happy, I get excited, and when I get excited, I do weird things, like run around in circles, and flap my arms around, and stuff, so, it should be interesting to see Johan do that...XD It would definitely be cool to get bright orange circle lenses, but the only place I know of that is trust-able doesn't have bright orange. I'd kind of be scared to put contacts in my eyes, anyways, since I've never done it before, so... I guess I'll just be the good Johan, who returns after Haou Johan has run his shindig, but is still wearing the same outfit. I cannot recall if I mentioned it or not, but I was also thinking about maybe using orange eye-liner (if it exists, and if I can find it), since I don't have contacts.

Don't worry. I'm the same way. I would need blue contacts and purple contacts for my chars. So, I'm not gonna mess with it. At least not now. The eye liner idea would be cool! And I know it exists. They have eye liner in almost every color...

The bangs look nice! Nice and neat and smooth...unlike my wig...XD The wings are finally kind of starting to solidify, though! I'll just keep spraying them, and then, when they are to a solid state of my liking (XD), I'll trim odds and ends and stray hairs, I suppose, or attempt to have them all join the bundle that are Bakura's wings.

I'm already kind of thinking of who I want to cosplay next year...Juudai, maybe regular Johan, Ryou, someone from 5D's, like Yuusei or Jack... I could have the worst anime convention of my life this year, and yet I still plan for the next, even before the first has occurred. XD

Man, I would love to be Crow. >_> That wig, though...I don't think I'd know where to start. Get a fairly medium-length one, I guess, style it up like crazy... (I've seen one guy cosplay Crow, and I loved it, but, I love all of his cosplays, to be honest.) Like I've said before, I would like to cosplay Jack someday, but I am either 5'3, or 5'4. That wouldn't be a pretty sight. Interesting, maybe, but not very pretty. XD It would be so cool to get a Team Satisfaction group someday at KumoriCon.

Wow, now I'm really tempted for another Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplay, and I think this is the second time that I have said that. I have eighty dollars left, and everyone is telling me to save it for the convention, but...if I'm really, really, really careful with the money, maybe I could make another cosplay...I would have to go through ordering another wig, though (I have to find someone with a Paypal, and someone who will let me give them money, and have them order it for me...trust me, people willing to do this are very, very, very rare in my life). Maybe I could get lucky, though, like you, and find a nice one at a party store.

If I could, then I wouldn't have to worry about a wig getting here on time, and I could work at my own pace.

Oh, I'm so bad with money. So very bad.

I'd like to cosplay both Crow and Yuusei someday, so, hmm...

I don't technically own a motorcycle, but there are motorcycles...on this property. I could cosplay Yuusei, and drive up to the KumoriCon line and be all like, "Is this where the line starts?"

It would be! I don't know anything about cars or motorcycles, though...and, I don't have a license, either. Someday, someday! I don't think it's legal to street-race (or, is it?), but maybe after I get my license, I could bring one to KumoriCon for that year's Yu-Gi-Oh! photoshoot.

I would want to be Crow, probably. Yuusei on such a short notice seems like...epic fail. I know that I would have to order his wig online, and...well, just thinking about his wig in general scares me. It's so...epic. For both my Bakura and Johan cosplays, I have said, "I am going to do this," and immediately jumped into them, but...for this one, I'd try to take it slower, and plan everything out before just going crazy. I'd like to draw Crow in full-view, so I know exactly what I'd be doing for the costume (I planned on doing this for Bakura and Johan, and haven't...yet). I'd have to research face-paint, and stuff like that... Working on another cosplay would give me something to do in-between my Bakura-wig-trials, when waiting for it to dry...

I know, right?! It would be really, really cool...then again, scary contacts!

Don't scare me. XD One month...if I completely restrict myself from having a life, maybe I could pull it off. Eat once a week, leave my room never, never sleep (though, I hardly sleep, anyways). I think I could do it! Maybe I've become too positive towards my cosplays, though...

If I buy a good enough in-between/variant color of jeans, I could probably use them for both Bakura and Crow. Another reason as to why Crow, instead of someone else, on such a short notice...well, his hair is orange, and it seems like it might be not be too hard to find an orange wig somewhere. Orange is also my favorite color, so, power to the orange people!

Oh, but I mean scary as in, putting-them-in-scary. Knowing myself, I'd probably end up going blind. Maybe someday I'll go blind enough to be able to get prescription contacts. Of course I'd choose to wear some radical color like Dark Signer, or crazy, crazy orange. Because scaring people without actually trying is something that I do well...

Oh, and I was going to ask you! Is there usually any Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff to buy at the convention, like in the Exhibition Hall? (I had to ask someone what that was called.) If not, then I probably wouldn't end up buying anything...I'll probably just be scuttling around the convention a lot. I don't even know where the Exhibition Hall is, so, if my knowledge stays that way, and even if there's cool Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff to buy, I won't be forced to purchase anything. And then I can spend all of my money on more Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplaying.

If they have action figures, though...I am all over that, like cream-cheese on a bagel.

The vest seems fairly simple...I might be able to find one, and then sew fluffy stuff onto it. The little-belt-thingys shouldn't be too difficult, seeing as I'll be needing them/similar ones for Johan, anyways... Gloves, head-band, rings... yellow-ish shirt... Boots, boots, boots. Maybe I could do a boot-cover thing...

Alright, shutting up. XD In about four hours, though, I'll be asking my "funds coordinator" if I can do this, and then it will either be officially a go, or a no.

It will be exactly like a beacon! His hair will shoot out a Yu-Gi-Oh! signal for all to see.

About how much did your Mai wig cost? I'd like to get a nice estimate for a wig.

My wig was 20. And before I found this one, there was one that I was gonna get from someone for 25. I'd say aim for 15-25. I got both my shorter wigs for 20.

Alright, I have everything that I will need for Crow drawn out...I think that now this cosplay has been thrown to luck, on if I can find a brown vest or a jacket that I can cut down (my friend says he looked everywhere, and couldn't find one for a Rex Raptor cosplay), and if I can find a wig. Everything else seems pretty simple to either find, or make!

I just lurked the photoshoot thread, and saw that the Yu-Gi-Oh! photoshoot will meet/be at Pioneer Courthouse Square. I was wondering, since downtown and I don't know each other too well, if that's by the Pioneer Place Mall (I think that's what it's called), and/or where the convention is going to be, and/or the waterfront?

Yeah, on the map, I saw Pioneer Place, so I'm pretty sure that was the whole little mall area. I'll be taking the MAX, also...I get off at Morrison/SW 3rd Avenue to get to the convention, so, without directions, I could probably just follow the MAX tracks to get to the square...I'll try to get exact directions, though. Don't want Bakura/Johan/possible Crow getting lost downtown...

Who's bringing a camera? Just in case. I hope to be able to borrow someone's by the time of the convention, but, we'll see.

I officially have the go-ahead for Crow! I'm really, really happy! Now I'll have a cosplay for each day, if I finish all of them. And, something that I noticed earlier was that I'll have a character from each Duel Monsters, GX, and 5D's.

Apparently we also have a brown jacket that I could cut the sleeves off of. Eeeep. We're not sure if it fits, though, so I'm sure we'll get that checked out...and, in other good news, I found out that I have more money than I thought left!

It looks like the cuff of his pants, and it fits to the shape of his pant-leg better than the boot, but the color matches the heel of his boots, so I think that makes it look more like a part of the boot, too...Thank you! I'll see what I can do, but I might just end up getting a fairly generic pair of boots to fit both Crow and Johan.

It would be really cool if I had enough left over for a camera, but, a camera that costs like, five bucks? Pssh.

I saw the coat, and...it's alright. If I can't find something better, I could just chop off the sleeves, and add some fluff and trim to it.

There's those disposible cameras that are like 5-10 bucks. Yeah, mine was 100, and it was on sale...But, it's amazing!

I'd say try Goodwill. I can usually find anything there. I'm actually going tonight in search of Mai's vest! But, I'd say use what's closest. If you can't find exact things, just find something that's simular...Especially if it's cheaper ^^;

I've been thinking about what order to wear them in, and that's actually what I've been thinking!

I wish I could wear multiple cosplays each day, though...If I get a nice estimation of time to see how long it takes to get home, fix up another cosplay, and get back, maybe I could... I just did a rough estimation, and it would probably take around two hours and ten minutes, to get home, change, and get back...of course, the first day of the convention, I'll do an actual estimate, but, do you think that that could be worth it to switch cosplays? Wearing Bakura for an entire day seems kind of tedious, but I will if I have to. It might be cool to wear him for half of the Saturday, switch to Johan, and maybe the same thing for Sunday, or reversed. Maybe fit Crow in somewhere, or just save him for Monday.

I didn't even realize until now that you have it written out, but it literally is in order!

Yeah, not too fast on picking stuff up here...

The thing about the jacket that I have right now, other than the fact that it isn't too similar, is the fact that it might be made of leather, and, me being the crazy vegan that I am...I wouldn't want to wear it. I plan on going to Goodwill this weekend, and to a party store, or a few... Good luck at Goodwill!

I can see myself as Crow at Pioneer Courthouse Square, so, we'll see what happens... On the note of the square, though, I googled it, and it looks like there is an array of steps, and I have this irrational fear of stairs, so...is there a way to avoid them, or is there at least a rail that I can clutch onto for dear life? XD

Hmm...a diposable camera...I guess I could take the chance, but, it's like...you can't see how the picture turns out, until quite a while afterwards. I'd probably end up taking pretty bad pictures, but, if I don't have another option, I guess I'll try. Thanks!

Um...I think there's a railing, and I'm pretty sure there's a flat area for wheelchair access...But I'm not too sure. If all else fails, I will totally give you a piggy-back ride down the stairs XD

I found a really good jacket there! I just need to cut off the sleeves and possiblly add pockets...? So, now, all I need to do is make the shirt...great...
