lychee, its actualy elverde, easy mix up though. she is an aewsome cosplayer (in my book at least) and a great friend. also ironmonkey is a freaking awesome photographer. the pics are always amazing i suggest hitting him up sometime (i realy want to my self)

Yeah, ElVerde is the model for the BRS pictures. it was also our first time modeling for anything. She's done head shots of magazines but no full bodies. As for her leg posing, she's knock kneed so that's just how she naturally stands so when we were spinning and posing and such, that's just how her legs ended up XD

Also, she's premiering it at Kumoricon 2011. Technically, she first wore the whole costume at Wonder Northwest but we're premiering the entire BRS cast at Kumoricon this year.

Got to see some more pictures from the Genderbend Scott Pilgrim shoot at Sakuracon.... Jailbreak photography makes me so happy, Jason is insanely awesome, and I hope to do more work with him in the future. =]

Confession time: The majority of the time when I here someone saying they're going to do a fem!cosplay of a male character, I automatically raise an eyebrow. It seems that a lot of fem!cosplays end up overly-skanky and really not true to the character at all. High heels, pigtails, gratuitous cleavage, and a miniskirt does not automatically make a good fem!version of a character, and that sort of thing happens fairly frequently. When a fem!cosplay comes along that is obviously considerate of the artist's style and the character's personality, it's a rare and exciting moment for me.

Dubaby, you and the rest of the Scott Pilgrim gender bend group are totally awesome. You are the perfect fem!Gideon. Sexy, not slutty, and true to the character with the powerful, business like pose and tailored jacket (do want, btw). I saw the group shot on deviantART of you guys and was like "Duuuuude!"

I agree one hundred percent with Lychee. I'm so sick of the fem!cosplay of male characters. Granted, I've done them in the past but never as bad as some of the others I see way too often.

The fem!Pilgrim group is amazing and I also applaud you all for staying true to the character without getting too entranced with the 'shock' factor many girls try to do with the fem!male cosplays.

If I understand correctly, big ditto to lychee and Kori.

Personally, I got almost sick of seeing "sexy no jutsu" versions of practically every single character in Naruto. The first couple of rounds of them were usually funny or clever, but it went downhill fast

I don't think I ever saw a Gamabunta SnJ, but that's about the only one.
