Some events at Kumoricon 2011 allow or require pre-convention sign-up, or require you to prepare before the convention, such as events with a dress code. Such events requiring pre-con sign-up or preparation will be listed on this page.

Events that are contests will be added to the contests page instead.

Cosplay Chess

Come see your favorite characters battle it out on a giant chessboard stage! Coplay Chess is an event where convention attendees in cosplay serve as the pieces, and at the direction of two chess masters, will move, fight, and die, live on stage. The combats are not pre-scripted—anything can happen!

Panelist Application

Event/Panel Form [fillable PDF | DOC] – Forms are no longer being accepted for Kumoricon 2011. This form allows you to apply to run a panel or event at the convention. Our schedules are built on these forms, so they are mandatory for all persons running a panel. With our limited space, panels will be approved more selectively than in previous years. Submitting a form does not automatically approve your panel. Your panel is only final if and when you receive written approval from the Panels Coordinator or Programming Director. More consideration is given to panel forms submitted earlier. The fillable PDF has an "email" button. If using the DOC version, email it to panels@kumoricon.org.
