NOILION is a major new artist debuting on Lantis, one of Japan's leading labels for anime and game music, and is produced by TeddyLoid, a DJ and music producer active not only in Japan but also in North America and other countries. Shortly after their debut in January, 2022, NOILION sang the opening theme for the Netflix anime Ultraman season 2, and they have been flying off the charts. LIO (singer), with her heavenly voice, and the masked members KILLIT (DJ) and REAK (VJ), who look like ninjas, are bringing their creativity from the Far East to the world.
With TeddyLoid as the producer, from Tokyo, creating a unique blend of music and visuals, the world's attention is gathering on this new group called NOILION. With the phrase "Live On in the Noisy World" as the focal point, their message speaks to embrace the warmth of being a human, through the noise and distortion of the digital age. A chemical reaction is caused by the three members of this creator unit: A world-class bilingual high-tone vocalist, LIO. A new, edgy, mysterious DJ with the DNA of the dance music legend, KILLIT. A VJ skilled in projection mapping live performances, taking over the forefront of Japan's club scene, REAK.
TeddyLoid started his career as MIYAVI's DJ and sound producer when he was only 18 years old. He grew in popularity rapidly with his production of the OST for the anime Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt ft. Taku Takahashi (m-flo) as well as his creation of tracks for the Vocaloid IA. In 2014 he produced the music for the short film ME!ME!ME! ft. DAOKO, which was a viral hit.
In 2021, TeddyLoid and Giga produced Ado's platinum track Odo which ranked on multiple charts, including US Billboard, YouTube Japan, iTunes Japan, and Oricon streaming.
TeddyLoid has performed on stages all over the world, with notable performances including SUMMER SONIC 2019 co-headline, Ultra Japan, Anime Expo, Anime Weekend Atlanta, SMASH! A native of Portland, Momma Sammu was raised attending and dressing up at fantasy and sci-fi cons, but didn't start cosplaying until their first anime convention in 2006 and has been hooked ever since. Now with over 15 years of sewing and performance experience, they've earned over a dozen Master-level awards at conventions across the country and abroad. Sammu's specialties include corsetry, ballgowns, bodypaint, and making things as extra as humanly possible, which has recently included their original TTRPG character designs.
When not at conventions, they love to share their knowledge, encouraging other creatives to pursue their passions through Twitch livestreams and other social media. They have done their best to create not only a space to share new skills, but a safe space for anyone who needs it, spreading the mindset that anyone can cosplay.
