What you need to know before the con…
1. Check-in...
All attendees—whether pre-registered or at-the-door, whether the badge was mailed or is being picked up—must bring:
- Photo ID
- If under age 18, parent permission form (if you have not mailed it already)
- Your badge, if it was mailed
Have questions or issues? Please check the registration page.
2. Rapid registration...
If you are registering at the door, speed things up and arrive with your registration form pre-filled out.
Fillable At-Con Registration Form [fillable PDF] – To type and print your info. (Faster!)
Blank At-Con Registration Form [PDF] – To handwrite your info.
3. Registration hours...
Friday: 3:00pm-9:00pm (pre-registration check-in and pick-up only) Saturday: 7:00am-5:00pm Sunday: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday: 7:00am-3:00pm
At-the-door registration begins on Saturday.
Registration is located in the garage of the Hilton. If crowds are heavy, there may be times when you are waiting outdoors. Please come prepared for weather (including sunscreen) and possible high heat.
4. Policies...
Do you know when the minor curfew is? Whether you need to peace-bond your prop? Whether photography is allowed? What you can't put on a sign?
Find out.
5. Hand stamp for 18+ events...
Want to get into an 18+ panel? Plan ahead. Your ID and badge isn't enough. You need to bring these two things to the Programming Booth to get a hand stamp to enter these events. (After Programming Booth hours, head to the Programming Office instead. But plan ahead, because this takes longer!)
6. The schedule (the good stuff!)...
Did you know that the schedule exists in six formats, including a smartphone app, a live schedule on the website, and books included in your swag bag?
Start here to plan your con. Use the free Guidebook app for iOS and Android to view the Kumoricon schedule, maps, Twitter, photos, and more. Mark events to create a personalized schedule! After you install the app, search the guides for "Kumoricon 2013".
What's Kumoricon All About?
Thousands of panels, tens of thousands of cosplays, millions of minutes of fun in our ten full years! Now gearing up for its tenth anniversary, Kumoricon is proud to present the same dynamic environment you know and love! On August 31, we come back, and we come back big.
Of course, this is completely impossible without Kumoricon's dedicated team of volunteer staffers! We're always looking for more, so if you've ever wanted to see what goes on behind the scenes of Kumoricon and have a chance to interact with the convention you love, now's your chance! All you gotta do is head on over to our Get Involved page, and show up to a general meeting near you. If you're not looking to staff, but still want to get your feet wet, come volunteer. Even just one hour will make the con better for everyone!
Ten years ago, we had just 400 people in a small hotel in Eugene. But thanks to you, we've filled two hotels with 4700 people! Because of your tireless search for more anime fans, and your continued attendance, it can only go up from here! It's the energy and the sense of community that really make Kumoricon shine. We're all one big family!
Make sure to keep in touch with us! Follow our forums, Facebook, Twitter, and our news feed to get updates for Kumoricon, in addition to any guest of honor announcements, programming, or other events we'll be at! And don't forget to pre-register on our website!
We'll see you soon at con!

Guest Autograph Guidelines – Posted Aug. 22, 2013We’ll be hosting autograph signing sessions for our guests of honor at Kumoricon (see schedule for locations and times). To allow as many attendees as possible an opportunity, please follow these guidelines:
- Each person is limited to two items to be signed.
- A guest may decline to sign any item they wish.
- Guests will do their best to sign items for as many people as possible. But there is no guarantee they will be able to make it through the entire line.
- Please have items to be signed ready when you approach the front of the line.
- If you would like a photo taken, please have your camera or phone out and ready when you approach the front of the line. A Kumoricon staff member will then be able to take pictures while the guest is signing for you.
