Partner Table Row
Thank you for your interest in applying for a Partner Table at Kumoricon 2019. Partner Tables are tables reserved for cultural groups, fan groups, conventions/events, and local organizations. Applications are not first-come, first-served. Applications received by the deadline will be chosen without regard to when they were submitted.
Partner Table applications will close on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 11:59pm Pacific Time.
Qualifying Groups
Partner Tables are available as a low- or no-cost option for cultural groups, fan groups, conventions and events, and local organizations that wish to partner with Kumoricon for promotional purposes. Qualification for Partner Tables is at the sole discretion of Kumoricon staff. If you are an Artist, Small Press, or Exhibitor, you can find more information on applying for those booths here.
Policies and Guidelines
All Partner Tables will be held to the same code of conduct that applies to general attendees. Please review the Convention Code of Conduct, which can also be found in our program book.
- There are a limited number of Partner Tables available. Not all groups/organizations that apply may be given space.
- Partner Tables are not intended to be used by businesses to sell inventory and products.
Applications are subject to approval by the Industry Manager. The number of badges issued to a company or organization is at the discretion of the Industry Manager and the Director of Relations. Members of a company or organization will each receive individual consideration of their qualifications. If it is found that a badge has been requested under false pretenses, badges for that entire organization will not be approved and/or will be revoked.
Having a Partner Table does not grant extra permissions to the badgeholder or group/organization unless specified by the Industry Manager and the Relations department.
The Industry department will be on-site throughout the convention to assist you with any questions you may have. Live updates to the schedule will be available on our website and through the Guidebook app. Pertinent information will be given to the primary contact for your Partner Table or group at badge pick-up.
Partner Table Q&A
How can I apply for a Partner Table for my group/organization?
Please review the Partner Table qualifications and submit a Partner Table application. You will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. Acceptance or denial emails will be sent by Tuesday, October 1, 2019. If you do not hear back from us, please follow up with the Kumoricon Partner Table Coordinator at partners@kumoricon.org.
What groups/organizations qualify for a Partner Table?
Cultural groups and organizations, conventions or events, local groups/organizations, and fan groups/organizations. If you have a question about if your group qualifies, please send us an email.
To run my table will I need to register for the convention?
Yes, each individual working your table must register for an industry membership prior to pre-registration closing. We provide industry badges (at no cost) to qualifying individuals. Individuals working your table must be 16 years of age or older as of set-up date, and all individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent permission and liability release form turned in to the convention in order to pick up their badge. You may apply for an industry membership here.

Examples of what may be displayed and sold at your Partner Table are:
- Organization or event flyers
- Promotional materials related to your organization or event
- Memberships or event passes for your organization or event
- Merchandize branded with your organization or event's logo, mascot, information, etc.
My group would like to share our table with another group. Can we do that?
At this time we do not allow groups to share tables. If you have special circumstances such as needing to share staff, etc., please email partners@kumoricon.org for consideration.
How do I obtain preferred or assigned seating for panels, or special events like the cosplay competition?
Having a Partner Table does not grant special seating at panels or events. The one exception is if the panel or event in some way involves the group/organization running the Partner Table. If you have questions or concerns about programming that your group/organization is providing, please contact the Industry Manager.

Reasons for revocation include but are not limited to:
